SR Automotive Group has been known for creating unique and stylish rides for those that already drive some of the best cars on the planet. The owner and founder of SR Auto Group, Tony Yuen, wanted to create a unique experience when it comes to tuning high-end luxury cars. The SR in the name stands for “Style and Refinement” which the company has been able to stick with throughout the years.

The cars that end up coming from this Vancouver based shop are modified tastefully and express each individual’s personality. One of their most recent projects was to create the ultimate Lamborghini Gallardo LP560, nicknamed “Erebos.” The LP560 is the entry level model of the Gallardo, but its 5.2-liter V10 still creates 560 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 398 ft-lbs of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Tuning something that is already a precision machine can be a tricky business and therefore SR Auto is very careful to not change the overall dynamics of the Gallardo->ke375. Most customers do not tend to ask for dramatic power increases in a car like this and so on the performance side SR has added an exhaust system. Including several aerodynamic pieces and a set of beautiful wheels were enough to change this “mild” Gallardo into one of the cleanest looking aftermarket examples we have ever seen.

Design and Conversion

The Lamborghini Gallardo has been on the market for several years in one form or another and today it still contains the edgy styling and performance that made the car Lamborghini’s best selling model. Just because it is the highest selling Lamborghini->ke44 ever does not mean that they litter the streets like Honda Civics, but they are around and readily available. Owning a Lamborghini is a statement in its own right and those that own them like to stand out from the crowd. Project Erebos makes this possible while straddling the line between modified Lamborghini and factory styling.

The first thing SR Auto did was include several aerodynamic pieces from Racing Sports Concepts. RSC is a high end carbon fiber company that develops products for various Italian and German high end brands. Their Gallardo line includes CS600 side skirts, rear diffuser, front splitter, mirrors, rear wings, and several performance options. SR Auto did not want to use too many pieces and included the carbon rear wing, mirrors, and side skirts. They also chose to leave those pieces as carbon fiber instead of painting them the body color. To ensure the Lamborghini retained a factory type look, SR took the front bumper and splitter from the LP570 Superleggera model and transplanted it to this car. Its aggressive look complements the other aerodynamic pieces beautifully and really completes the look and stance of this Lamborghini.

Other exterior enhancements include the set of PUR wheels. This company builds individually tailored wheels for every client and this specific set is spot-on for this car. The 9-spoke design wheels are 20” models that SR finished in high gloss black paint. The rear wheels are also a concave design which is beginning to become very popular in the aftermarket world. The black wheels set against the silver body of this Lamborghini really set it apart from the crowd.
