Given a choice, I would choose the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta over the Lamborghini Aventador->ke3624. However, there are a majority of folks who would fall for the brutal power and aggressive looks of the Aventador. No wonder then, the big Lambo is so popular. Given the high demand for this 700 horsepower supercar->ke177, owners are more keen to personalize their cars.

That's where aftermarket tuners like Premier Autowerkz come in. They have recently launched upgrades for the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4. The extensive update includes a full body kit, fixed rear spoiler, new paint scheme and wheels.

The exterior is finished in a very attractive shade of blue and gloss black. The body kit consists of a carbon-fiber front bumper and splitter with a more aggressive front air intakes. A new carbon-fiber rear diffuser has also been added, and the exhaust system has been reworked for a unique Lambo howl. The standard retractable spoiler has been done away with and replaced with a fixed carbon-fiber piece.

PUR wheels adorn the large wheels arches on this Lamborghini Aventador. PUR RS05 wheels finished in metallic silver gives the car a sporty and distinct appeal. Brake calipers on this example are finished in a shade of gold. Under skin, the Aventador uses a the same 6.5-liter, V-12 with 700 horsepower and all-wheel drive. 'Launch Control', thanks to the dual-clutch automatic transmission is standard.

Lamborghini Aventador

It costs $380,000 and is among the most popular Lamborghinis already. Launched after the demise of the Murcielago->ke1267, the Aventador has set its foot firmly in the highly competitive and exclusive space. It captures the essence of the old, flamboyant Lamborghinis and adds 21st century sophistication to the mix.

Since being taken over by Audi, the big Lamborghini has undergone a sea of change. There's a new 6.5-liter, V-12 powering the beast, which produces 700 horsepower that goes to all four wheels, hence the name LP700-4. The induced German sophistication does not end at that. The gearbox is now a dual-clutch equipped unit which shifts in the blink of an eye, er.. No, faster than that.

The new car is lighter and faster than the previous model. Lambo used carbon fiber to keep weight to a minimum. That said, the 700 horsepower from that screaming V-12 does play a huge part irrespective of the mass. Engage the launch control system, which in Lamborghini-speak is aptly called "Thrust mode" by pressing a button, a slam of the accelerator pedal, and the Aventador reaches 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. Top speed is a very supercar friendly 217 mph.

The interior of the Lamborghini Aventador is really special. Just being surrounded by buttons that say- "Strada", "Sport", "Corsa" and that liquid crystal display for the instrument binnacle make hair on the back of my neck stand on end. Ignore some of the Audi switchgear and you have a supercar that looks brilliant and goes like hell.
