Just in time for the 2014 Geneva Motor Show->ke47 is coming to the party with a new racing concept that's based on the all-new Lexus RC F performance coupe->ke141.

The race car->ke148 is called the RC F GT3 Concept and as its name suggests, Lexus built and developed it to meet Group GT3 international racing standards. All the preparations leading up to this point will actually come in full bloom next year when the concept->ke169 is turned into a full-fledged racing car that will become available to racing teams beginning in the 2015 season.

So in the meantime, the RC F GT3 Concept will proudly wave to attendees of the Geneva Motor Show before undergoing a series of tests later this year to ensure that the car is fit and ready to tackle some of the best GT3 races in the world, including the 24 Hours of Nürburgring endurance race and the Super Taikyu Endurance and Super GT series in Japan.

2015 Lexus RC F GT3 Concept In Detail

Notwithstanding the tacky graphics on the RC F GT3 Concept, the soon-to-be unleashed race car looks incredibly bad-ass. All the necessary racing components are clearly visible from the get-go, some of which you actually can't help but notice. The massive rear wing, for one, is as distinct as the heavily modified front bumper and the vented hood. The concept also gets a nice set of racing wheels and like any true racer, the whole suspension was lowered to improve its aerodynamics.

Under its hood, the concept racer is powered by a 5.0-liter, V-8 engine that's been race-tuned to develop 540 horsepower.

2015 Lexus RC-F

The new Lexus RC-F is distinguished by an incredibly aggressive look that doesn't do justice to what we initially thought the car was going to look like. Sure, the signature Lexus spindle grille is sitll there and the subtle F-pattern on the lower half adds that distinctive Lexus style while the slightly raised hood does make room for that massive V-8 engine.

Speaking of its engine, the RC-F is powered by a 5.0-liter V-8 engine that produces 455 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, good enough to allow the car to hit 60 mph in 4.5 seconds to go with a top speed of 168 mph.
