The Mercedes CL65 AMG -- together with its younger brother, the CL63 AMG -- is one of those vehicles that's a little hard to classify. It's too big to be a sports car, but it's a little too small to be classified as a luxury car.

So...what is it?

The short answer: who cares, because whatever it may be, the CL65 AMG is a bad-ass ride. And in most cases, that's fine by us.

German tuner Anderson Germany shares those sentiments and it's taken its love for the CL65 AMG to a new level with a new program that it has christened the Special Grey Stone Edition.

The name of the program is appropriate for the CL65 AMG->ke8, considering that you won't find a whole lot of flash in it. Instead, the luxury sports coupe has plenty of substance; the kind that you appreciate even more once you get inside one and drive it home.

Exclusive Matte Paint

We've professed our love for matte paint jobs numerous times and that's not changing with the Anderson Germany CL65 AMG. The matte-gray paintwork fits the luxury sports coupe like a glove. Adding to the awesome look of the Benz are other exterior upgrades that include: tinted taillights, carbon mirrors, carbon roof rails and window frames.

Tailor-Made Interior

Equally impressive is the work Anderson Germany did to the CL65 AMG's interior. The tailor-made cabin features a sick two-tone black and white leather treatment that exudes the kind of style and class the German tuner is known for.

Power Up

Lost in all the aesthetic and aerodynamic upgrades given to the CL65 AMG is the fact that Anderson Germany also improved on the car's performance numbers. Thanks to the installation of a flap-controlled exhaust system with sports catalytic convertors, an optimized ECU, free-flow air filters and larger pulleys, the aftermarket company managed to tack on a few more ponies - 670 horsepower from 621 horsepower - to the CL65 AMG's 6.0 V-12 bi-turbo engine.
