As you’re probably well aware, Rolls-Royce has made a habit of unveiling extravagantly customized variants of it’s already extravagant model lineup under the Bespoke customer personalization program. The latest high-profile creation is a pair of unique motor cars inspired by “the atmosphere and vibrancy of one of the world’s most exclusive and glamorous enclaves; Porto Cervo.” Part of the pair is this emerald green Dawn, a drophead coupe outfitted with a nautical-themed interior, mother of pearl, precious jewels, and white gold.

But this thing didn’t just appear out of thin air. As any artistic person will tell you, proper inspiration is needed to create anything of worth, and to that end, Rolls launched its Summer Studio in Porto Cervo, Italy, last month. The studio hopes to combine “the worlds of fashion, art and design” into a single luxurious social hub for well-to-do clientele, creating the right setting for dreaming up new applications of the Bespoke program.

Renowned British tattoo artist, Mo Coppoletta, was in attendance, and was inspired to create a pair of leather headrests that will be shown along with the two Rollers.

However, the stars of the show are the two cars. Complementing the Dawn is a custom Wraith, completing the pair’s theme, from “Dusk until Dawn.”

So then – what do you get when you combine a $335,000 convertible with unlimited artistic freedom and a hotspot of the fabulously wealthy? Read on for the details.

What Makes The Rolls-Royce Bespoke Porto Cervo Dawn So Special

First revealed at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Rolls-Royce Dawn is a two-door, four-seat convertible draped in opulence. Essentially a roofless Wraith with minor tweaks to the lower body panels, Rolls likes to call it the “most social of Drophead Coupes.”

A variety of custom special editions have been issued in the short time that the Dawn has been in production, and this latest from Porto Cervo hopes to “capture the vibrancy and vivid color” of the locale’s incredible seaside backdrop.

As such, the first thing you’ll notice is the car’s color. The exterior panels are covered by a unique emerald green paint job that seems to mimic the translucent waters of the harbor, with the chrome details glinting like waves reflecting the sun.

While impressive, the exterior is handily outdone by what lies inside. To begin, the entire cabin is bathed in leather upholstery, which comes finished in green and seashell as a nod to the car’s maritime motif. The “marine sojourn” continues with open-pore teak wood trim across the dash, as well as a custom teak floor mat in the trunk.

If that doesn’t make you green with jealousy, then this will – mounted centrally on the dash is a large glittering ornament composed of emerald gemstones and mother of pearl, set in white gold. The star as “a timeless memory of the beguiling island,” and is presented in the shape of the Porto Cervo emblem.

Meanwhile, the drivetrain goes unmodified, offering a standard 563 horsepower at 5,250 rpm, and 605 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm, all of which comes courtesy of a twin-turbo 6.6-liter V-12 engine. Properly motivated, the Dawn will reach 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.
