Harley-Davidson-105th anniversary

Harley-Davidson Inc. will celebrate its 105th anniversary in 2008 with a ride to Milwaukee that will traverse 24 major routes across the United States.

The journey will feature 105 starting points in honor of the Milwaukee-based motorcycle manufacturer’s anniversary, which will take place Aug. 28 to 31, 2008. The celebration will also include different activities which are opened to the public as well as several exclusive ticketed events.

The events associated with the 105th anniversary will take place at Harley Davidson museum, currently under construction in Milwaukee’s Menomonee Valley and around Milwaukee’s lakefront area.

Haley-Davidson also announced the new models that will be introduced in 2008, together with significant technical developments for the 2008 model year.

"MILWAUKEE (July 9, 2007) - Harley-Davidson takes factory-custom motorcycle design to a new extreme with the introduction of three radically styled new models. The Dyna Fat Bob, the Rocker and the Rocker C are additions to a diverse line of 2008 motorcycles that also includes 14 models available in limited-edition 105th Anniversary styling. A host of technical refinements for 2008 includes the availability of an all-new Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) as an option on Touring and VRSC models."
