The future looks bright for BMW Motorrad after it was announced that a range of stylish new colours will be made available for a variety of its motorcycle models in 2008.

A new colour has already been introduced for the popular F 800 S, while further colours are scheduled to be released for a number of models in the F and K series ranges from next year.

The new colour options will be available on a variety of models, including:

The F 800 S - upon which Chris Pfeiffer performed his spectacular stunt show at last weekend's Race of Champions event, wowing F1 drivers Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, David Coulthard and a sizeable crowd inside Wembley Stadium - is now available in 'Lahar Grey'.

The K 1200 GT - winner of Best Sports Tourer award at the 2006 Motor Cycle News Awards - now available in 'Crystal Aventurin Silver Metallic' (instead of Crystal Grey).

The K 1200 R - the motorcycle of choice for Milla Jokovich in the recent Hollywood blockbuster Resident Evil: Extinction - now available in three new paint finish combinations: 'Smoke Grey Metallic Matt', with either silver or black chassis, frame and engine, and the striking 'Green Apple Metallic' with black chassis, frame and engine.

Tony Jakeman, Marketing Manager of BMW Motorrad UK, commented "BMW Motorrad is excited to announce the release of several new colours which will be available for a variety of our models in 2008. The new colours have been designed to emphasise the style of each motorcycle. This is especially noticeable with the new Green Apple Metallic finish that is now available for the K 1200 R."
