"Ducati Scrambler Custom Rumble" is an art competition organized by Ducati to find the most eye-catching customized Ducati Scrambler out there. In its 2nd edition, Ducati has anointed four finalists from four different categories to go head to head for ultimate victory. All 132 entries got voted on scramblerducati.com with no less than 200,000 votes were cast.

These finalists will get an opportunity to display their meticulous, passion-driven craftsmanship during World Ducati Week (WDW) - the world's biggest gathering organized by Ducati from 20 to 22 July 2018 at Misano Adriatico for all motorcycle enthusiasts. And one winner will travel to California, the Scrambler’s backyard.

The four categories as described by Ducati were: Best Official Ducati Dealer (exclusively for official Ducati Dealers), Best Independent Customiser (for independent customisers), Best Customer Scrambler (for customers of any Scrambler models) and Rookie Rumble (anyone under 35 years old who wants to customise a Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 model).

A total of 132 participant sent in their work of art to Ducati having spent for the build all by themselves. They had to make use of exclusive official Ducati accessories for their creation. A “vast array of styles and original interpretations were seen coming in from Café Racer to Bobber, and even an electric version (the D-EV Project) built by a Thai participant.” says Ducati in its press release.

The participants started working on their Scrambler bikes last September and had to create a thread on their social media pages supporting their "Work in Progress" of the build. After having uploaded their pictures, online voting began on the official website at the end of October and continued until March this year.

After counting in around 200,000 votes, four finalists for each of the four categories were adjourned. The four finalists are:

• Best Official Ducati Dealer: “ESG Rumble 400”, entered by Ducati Poland;

• Best Independent Customizer: “The Batass” built by Piotr, Poland;

• Best Custome Scrambler: “Black Ant” built by Sumalpan, Thailand;

• Rookie Rumble: “Aree”, designed by Tanapol, Thailand.

These four finalists will get an opportunity to display their work at Ducati’s biggest festival that celebrates the iconic Italian brand’s 90 years of passion, emotions, and excellence- World Ducati Week 2018. Out of these four, one will be judged as the final winner of the competition by a jury of experts comprising of designers, motorcyclists, and customizers at the very same event.

The winner and a companion will be entitled an all-expenses-paid trip to "Discovering California", a 5 days and 4 night’s stars & stripes journey through the locations of South-West California and Mexico’s Baja scenes from back in the ’60s and ’70s. The era Scramblers was born!
