The National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, UK, has the winter raffle contest going on for a while now and is drawing to a close. It is running for one final week, and the contest winner stands a chance to win a 2018 Triumph Speedmaster.

All you need to do is to spend £2 ($10) to buy an entry ticket for the museum, and you could just get lucky. Even if you didn’t win, you still could feel proud about having helped the museum with showcasing some of history’s iconic motorcycles to enthusiasts just like you and me.

Since opening its doors in October 1984 with 350 motorcycles, the National Motorcycle Museum today houses almost 1000 plus of the rarest and most prestigious motorcycles history has ever made. It is the finest and largest British motorcycle museum in the world that attracts around 250,000 visitors a year.

The National Motorcycle Museum has developed into a focal point for the British Motorcycle movement which aims at preserving these pieces of history for future generations to come, as a reminder of Britain’s industry, engineering prowess, and work ethic.

The winter raffle they are running started on the 6th of November last year and will culminate at the International Classic Bike Show on 22nd April 2018. The £2 ticket will be sold in multiples of 5, and each of them will get an entry into the raffle. All monies raised directly re-invested in the Museum.

One can also purchase these tickets in person from the museum shop or at shows and events attended by the National Motorcycle Museum. Unfortunately, this raffle is applicable only to UK residents (excluding Northern Ireland who have a separate control body) above the legal age of 16.

There is also a second and third prize in this raffle. Second prize is a luxury hotel break for two at the Manor Hotel, Meriden plus dinner for two at the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse while third prize is a Triumph Visitor Experience Factory Tour for two.

Christened as the Bonneville Speedmaster, this new British icon has set out to bring back the long, low, blacked out silhouette of the American hot-rod culture and give it the British attitude with the category-leading, high-torque Bonneville 1200cc twin plant. The T-120 based engine delivers its 78.2 pound-feet and 77 horsepower smoothly across the RPM range, and even though the torque caps out at a low 4,000 RPM, the engine likes to be wound up for short-shifting urban fun.

Similar to all Bonnevilles’, the Speedmaster too will feature everything from riding modes (Road and Rain) to switchable traction control, single button cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, ABS, and a torque-assist clutch.
