No waiting for Sturgis to get a look at these gems. Indian Motorcycle has revealed the 2018 lineup of its complete range including new-for-2018 the limited edition Roadmaster Elite to top off the touring stable and the Springfield Dark Horse to expand the blacked-out Dark Horse line. We already knew about the new Scout Bobber, but the Chief makes an appearance for 2018 as well as the Chieftain Classic, which replaces the Chieftain Elite from last year.

What's The Buzz?

The Roadmaster Elite and Springfield Dark Horse are two fantastic motorcycles, with two different attitudes. The Roadmaster Elite packs all the bells and whistles perfect for riders looking for the best of the best, while the Dark Horse brings blacked-out style to the Springfield line,” said Reid Wilson, Marketing Director – Indian Motorcycle. “Beyond these two offerings, we have elevated each and every model – listening to our consumers to bring new features and colors they have asked for.

So far that looks to be a fair statement. The Roadmaster Elite features hand-finished, two-tone candy paint with real 23K gold leaf badging on the tank and lowers. That's enough to rival The King of Paint itself, Harley-Davidson's best finishes and could go up against any of the CVO top-shelf amenities with its Ride Command system, a 300-watt premium audio system, billet aluminum floorboards, and more.

The Dark Horse family sees the Springfield added to the lineup with all the black-out goodies that brings, as well as some new upgrades on the Chieftain Dark Horse. The new Chieftain Dark Horse will feature the industry-leading Ride Command infotainment system for 2018 and distinguishes itself from last year's model with a 19” ten-spoke blacked-out wheel with an open front fender.

New paint is sprinkled liberally through the lineup, not the least of which includes Metallic Jade and Willow Green over Ivory Cream for the Scout and Burgundy Metallic on the Chief Classic, which also gets white wall tires, wire wheels, and full chrome hand controls. Lots of classy upgrades include -- but aren't limited to -- Indian’s iconic valanced front fender and genuine leather seat with fringe on the Chieftain Classic and the Chief Vintage line for the first time ever will feature black genuine leather saddlebags and seats on the Thunder Black and Star Silver over Thunder Black colorways.

Is that enough to whet the appetite? There's more...so much more and all available for riders to view, drool over, and demo at Sturgis on August 5th through the 13th.
