For the year 2018, America’s oldest brand gave the world a brand new lineage of motorcycles that are sophisticated and technologically packed while keeping the core values of its predecessors intact of being the vintage charmers. Three new machines rolled on our streets including the Roadmaster Elite, Springfield Dark Horse) and the Chieftain Elite.

For 2019, the Springfield manufacturer will equip the Chief, Springfield and Roadmaster guns with a fresh sleaze of technology under its belt that enhances riding experience to an all new level. New Ride-Enhancing Technology like ride modes, rear cylinder de-activation, improved airflow and enhanced audio systems improves performance, comfort, and audio quality. The Dark Horses, on the other hand, also gets style updates and expanded color options.

Indian Motorcycles is lifting itself to the pinnacle for 2019. With having better sales figures and profits compared to Harley Davidson (who is experiencing dwindling in market share), they have been making the right decisions in the right directions.

The 111 Thunderstroke powerplant running across the range is a 1811cc 49 degree V-Twin capable of belting out 73 hp of power and 119 lb-ft of torque.

2019 Indian Chief Dark Horse

The dark and stealth, as usual, gets blacking out just about everything apart from the exhaust. It carried around the same panache and poise of the epoch Chief, a motorcycle that leaves no question of having a prominent place in the lineup of this historic brand that knows retro indulgence.

Now, it receives premium gloss black finishes on the engine including the primary, valve, and cam covers, push-rod tubes, as well as on the exhaust and saddlebag hinges. New features also include three ride modes (Tour, Standard or Sport) – selectable on the fly. Other key features include ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition

An all-new Rear Cylinder Deactivation technology for the Thunder Stroke 111 will automatically deactivate the rear cylinder when the bike is at a standstill, resulting in less engine heat for improved comfort in slow-moving or stopped traffic.

The 2019 Indian Chief Dark Horse will be available in Thunder Black Smoke and will be priced at $17,999, $500 dearer than the 2018 model.

2019 Indian Chief Vintage

White walls, leather saddlebags and seats, wire wheels and tons of chrome harks at the retro appeal this Chief Vintage carries around. As a standard option now, it will come with a quick release windshield, ABS, cruise control and keyless ignition.

New features also include three ride modes (Tour, Standard or Sport) – selectable on the fly. An all new Rear Cylinder Deactivation technology for the Thunder Stroke 111 will automatically deactivate the rear cylinder when the bike is at a standstill, resulting in less engine heat for improved comfort in slow-moving or stopped traffic.

The 2019 Indian Chief Vintage will be available in Thunder Black, Sky Blue Over Pearl White, and Willow Green Over Ivory Cream. It will be priced similar to the 2018 model which is at $19,999 - $20,999.

2019 Indian Springfield

It still carries the Hiawatha headlamp and nacelle born in the 1960’s, a time when chrome ruled the streets. New features also include three ride modes (Tour, Standard or Sport) – selectable on the fly. An all-new Rear Cylinder Deactivation technology for the Thunder Stroke 111 will automatically deactivate the rear cylinder when the bike is at a standstill, resulting in less engine heat for improved comfort in slow-moving or stopped traffic.

It also gets the quick release windshield, genuine leather seats, remote-locking saddlebags and adjustable passenger floorboards. ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition and tire pressure monitoring which come as a standard fitment.

The 2019 Indian Springfield will be available in Thunder Black, Steel Grey over Burgundy Metallic and Metallic Jade over Thunder Black. It will be priced similar to the 2018 model which is at $20,999 - $22,099.

2019 Indian Springfield Dark Horse

The Indian Springfield Dark Horse is a heavily kitted version of its stable mate, the Chief Dark Horse. That means, except for a long list of equipment, the Springfield is essentially the same motorcycle as the Chief Dark Horse.

For 2019, the paintjob boasts premium gloss black finishes on the engine’s primary, valve, and cam covers, push-rod tubes, as well as on the exhaust and saddlebag hinges. The machine will also receive remote-locking saddlebags, ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition and tire pressure monitoring as standard.

2019 Indian Roadmaster

This right here is the cream of the crop of Indian motorcycles and has raised the bar for comfort, convenience, power, style, infotainment, craftsmanship and most important of all - confidence. Being the best money can buy is not easy but this pulled it off with all bells and whistles.

This machine receives the most number of updates for 2019 which of course features the three ride modes (Tour, Standard or Sport) – selectable on the fly and the Rear Cylinder Deactivation technology. It gets redesigned lower fairings with adjustable airflow vents to provide significantly more airflow to the rider. The vents can be opened or closed manually for total weather protection.

Other amenities include LED lighting, multi-setting heated seats and grips, remote-locking saddlebags and trunk, adjustable passenger floorboards. ABS, cruise control, keyless ignition and tire pressure monitoring also come standard. The audio system gets optimized speaker positioning and a dynamic equalizer.

The 2019 Indian Roadmaster will be available in Thunder Black, Burgundy Metallic, Polished Bronze over Thunder Black, Pearl White over Star Silver and Steel Grey Smoke Over Thunder Black Smoke. It will be priced at $21,499 - $21,999, $500 more than the 2018 model.
