The Malcolm Smith Motorsports / Sunstar Racing For Life Offroad Team, Racing For Life, and Pinned Television announce the premiere of a thirty minute, high definition episode of Pinned, telling the story of Malcolm Smith & and JN Roberts as they compete in the 2007 40th Tecate/SCORE Baja 1000. The episode tells the story of two legends of off road, who reunite 40 years after their victory in the first Baja 1000. Malcolm and JN lead the Racing For Life Team on one more ride down the rugged Baja peninsula in the 40th Baja 1000. Pinned travels to Valle de Trinidad for a rare look at Hogar de Ninos El Oasis, a Mexican orphanage supported by the Malcolm Smith Motorsports Foundation. We join Malcolm and JN fireside in Anza California for real conversations about the first years of the Baja 1000.

The Racing For Life Team completed the grueling 1,296 miles down the Baja peninsula aboard the Julia Lynn II, a Husqvarna TC 510 named in memory of Julia Lynn Filanc, the sister of team co-captain, Jim Filanc. The Julia Lynn II underscores Racing For Life’s commitment to raise money for The Malcolm Smith Motorsports Foundation, The Scleroderma Foundation and The Lance Armstrong Foundation through the auctioning of the Julia Lynn II in January 2008.

The TV special, produced by Pinned, will be followed by the worldwide release of a feature-length DVD in February 2008, with special footage from The San Diego Automotive Museum reunion held in August 2007 featuring many of the past winners of the Baja 1000, including offroad icons Johnny Campbell and Ivan Stewart.
