Looking at what customers were making out of their products in the last decade, manufacturers have forayed into satisfying the current wave of enthusiasts wanting custom and classic motorbikes. Factory Customization was born.

Factory custom parts and accessories have already become a thing with motorcyclists who wish to showcase their individuality with their most prized possession- their ride. And with manufacturers supplying these in-house parts themselves, there is no derailment of quality or fit and finish.

The most recent company to offer such services comes from the Italian Moto Morini. Dubbed as “Yours and Yours Alone”, this handcrafted production allows customers design every detail of their bike with the in-house designers.

Founded in 1937, Moto Morini started hand-building motorcycles from their Bologna factory in Italy. After changing hands to Cagiva and Texas Pacific group, the company went into voluntary liquidation in 2009. Then in 2011 Eagle Bike revived the company from the abyss and have since then re-establishing the Italian brand onto the world map.

Today, Moto Morini builds top quality motorcycles for the European markets that run on 1187cc twin cylinder motors. The machines have the credibility and character to take on the world's competition and showcases true Italian flair.

With the “Yours and Yours Alone”, Moto Morini allows its customers to sit with their designers and imagine parts and accessories that best fit their motorcycle. Specialists then get to work on making this image a reality, and this is a service worth the buck you pay for a Moto Morini.

Apart from custom creating parts, there is also a huge catalog of products that showcase equipment from a famous Italian component company, Rizoma. Made specifically for Moto Morini, the customer can also choose to opt for these parts and have them made in any color or texture they wish to.

Since each Moto Morini is built by hand, the company has the flexibility to accommodate every selection of the customer onto their motorcycle. This allows Moto Morini to claim to have each and every motorcycle rolling off their factory to be as individual as the customers are.

All of this hospitality doesn't come cheap though. Every Moto Morini motorcycle starts with a $20,000 price tag. And with the “Yours and Yours Alone” customisation project, you might as well add another zero to that price tag.

Nonetheless, we don't have to scramble to get one for ourselves since Moto Morini doesn't sell bikes in North America. But that hasn't deterred from expecting them on our shores soon. If nothing, this movement will at the least lead to other manufacturers following suit with something similar.

Earlier this year, the Indian Royal Enfield launched its “My Kinda Bike” customization program and was well received by its customers. Harley-Davidson, Indian and Triumph also have a plethora of options and accessories one can choose from. But neither of them are cheap.
