The 2007 MCN London Motorcycle Show has opened its doors yesterday at 10am. BMW Motorrad UK is one of the main exhibitors at the new show (which has moved to ExCel after more than 20 years at Alexandra Palace) and is bringing across the current European Stuntriding Champion especially for the occasion.

Flying in directly from an event in the USA, Chris will be showing the kind of tricks on a BMW F 800 that made him the undisputed stunt king of 2006. It will be the first time that UK audiences have seen Chris in action, and he is looking forwards to performing several times a day at the show's Live Action Arena.

"It's been a while since I was last in the UK - and the first time here riding a BMW - so I can't wait to show the crowds some of my latest tricks. I've been practicing lots over the winter and have several new stunts to show, so I think people will be surprised at what you can make a BMW F 800 do!"

The BMW Motorrad stand (N131) will also feature Chris's 'stoppie stunt bike'. It allows riders to sit on the bike, while a hydraulic arm lifts the back up into a perfect stoppie. Photographs can then be taken and printed out on the stand for fans to take home. The latest issue of BMW Bikes magazine will also be available for show visitors to take away from the BMW stand.

All of BMW Motorrad's latest models will be on display, including the new G 650 X series and the K 1200 R Sport, which will be in dealers later this spring. The powerful new HP2 Megamoto - due for launch this summer - will also be at ExCel, along with a comprehensive range of BMW Rider Equipment and accessories, including the latest Streetguard, Rallye2 and ComfortShell suits.

The ubiquitous Charley Boorman will also be visiting the BMW stand on the Sunday, where he will be signing autographs and chatting with fans about Long Way Round, Race to Dakar and the forthcoming Long Way Down project that has just been announced.

The MCN London Motorcycle show runs from 1 - 4 February and there is free parking for motorcyclists.
