In an attempt to break a Guinness World Record, a British 22-year-old lad, Henry Crew, will travel around the globe on a motorcycle to become the youngest person to do so. His quest will take him 35,000 miles through 35 countries on six continents where he will be raising funds and awareness for the Movember Foundation.

It is a multinational charity that aims to raise awareness of and money for men’s health founded in 2003. It has funded more than 800 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health, men’s health awareness and healthy lifestyles.

The current Guinness World Record is held by another British man Kane Avellano, from South Shields, who circumnavigated the earth in 233 days while he was just 24. Meanwhile, our 22-year-old Henry set off from the UK yesterday and plans to return by Friday, May 10, 2019, to take a dig at beating the previous record.

While at it, Henry will raise funds and awareness focussing on men’s health risks. Losing three of his friends to suicide, Henry is more than determined to raise over £35,000 (nearly $50,000), or £1 for every mile ridden. All of which will be donated to The Movember Foundation.

His companion throughout will be a Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled donated by Ducati UK. The majority of this bike will remain relatively stock. A rear luggage rack, fly screen, and engine guards have been added to the bike. Malle London will provide luggage accessories.

The countries he will be covering 35,000 odd miles will cross over UK, France, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania,Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Pakistan, India,Bangladesh, India, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Malaysia, Australia (Perth -Brisbane), Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, USA, Morocco, Spain, France and finally back to the UK.

“I want to show that anyone can ride a bike and if I can circumnavigate the world, so can you!”
