Triumph has been the oldest British motorcycle manufacturer that has a rich 115 years of heritage and has been sweating it out on the arena and treating us with exceptionally new modern classics over and over again. Their Bonneville range is selling as fast as they can make them and now they are coming up with a limited run of their Bonneville T120 and T100 models.

Celebrating Triumph’s “Spirit of ’59” campaign, the brand has unfurled 59 examples of both the Bonneville models with fresh colors that take you back to the T120 Bonneville 650 bike of 1959, the era that announced the beginning of a cultural explosion that lives on in every Triumph Modern Classic.

Back in the days, freedom was everything, and Triumph gave us a feeling that encapsulated this spirit and passion for life. Legions of riders were born through the iconic ’59 Triumph Bonneville, and a whole movement of expression began in music, art, and culture, from rock ’n’ roll to Andy Warhol.

This year, Triumph is celebrating that movement with limited edition samples of their famous Bonneville T120 and T100. It is only a visual exercise, and there aren’t any mechanical changes. The T120 sports a classic blue and orange paintjob on the contours of the tank rather than the traditional division at the center.

The T100, on the other hand, gets an Opal White base with the blue and orange stripings seen unlike any other Triumph before. Customers of these 59 examples will also be entitled to win themselves a matching Knight White helmet from cult manufacturer Hedon. For the rest of us, taking a test ride of any Triumph Modern Classic will provide us the opportunity to win an exclusive Spirit of ’59 painted fuel tank.

The celebration is heightened further with Triumph collaborating with London-based contemporary artists-D*Face- to create three unique Spirit of ‘59 bikes for 2018. Each example is based on a model from the Bonneville Modern Classics range and will be hand-painted by D*Face expressing the pop art of the ’59 in a creative guerrilla style. They will also feature a range of accessories and custom features from the Triumph range.

The punk artistic one-off examples are “The Bobcat” based on the Bobber Black, “The Spirit of ‘59” based on a T120 and “The Raceface” made of the Thruxton R. Booking a test ride of any Triumph Modern Classic on the official website before 30 April 2018 will let you stand a chance to win one of these iconic custom bikes.

If I were you, I would be running my fingers all over the keyboard to go and book a test drive with my nearest Triumph dealership. Eligible models: T100, T120, Street Scrambler, Street Twin and the Thruxton.
