Professional motocross rider Vicki Golden stamped her name into the record books by becoming the first woman in more than 40 years to qualify on the AMA Supercross’->ke1598 night program for the series’ 2015 finale at Sam Boyd Stadium and the 250SX Class’ Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout.

Golden finished 35th out of 42 riders in the timed qualifying round, proving once again that her success on the dirt track has everything to do with her incredible talents. Her latest achievement is another feather in the cap of a career that began when she was just seven years old. Now 22, Golden also became the first woman to complete Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross in AMSOIL Arenacross last season. She also became the first woman to qualify for an AMSOIL Arenacross Lites Class Main Event and she also has three gold medals - she won them in consecutive years - in Women's Moto X Racing at the X Games.

Golden’s on the precipice of making history yet again as she attempts to transfer her way into the 250SX Class Main Event, proving yet again that there aren’t any challenges that she can’t succeed in. In doing so, Golden has established a well-earned reputation as one of the most dynamic figures in off-road motorcycle racing.

The fact that she’s only 22 years old means that we haven’t seen the best of Vicki Golden yet.

As she continues to carve out a successful career in off-road motorcycle racing, you can count me as one of her biggest fans. There’s no telling how high her success will go, but I can guarantee that the best is yet to come from Vicki Golden.

I don’t expect her to win the race tonight, but I also wouldn’t be shocked if she somehow pulled it off. At this point, anybody who discounts Vicki Golden will do so at their own peril. That’s how good she is now and really, the sky’s the limit on how much better she’s going to be moving forward.
