Speaking of stunts->ke2282, this one is not for the faint of heart. Don’t even think about trying this yourselves because you’re probably going to end up hurting yourself. Fortunately, Robbie “Maddo” Maddison is the type of guy that does these things for a living. You don’t earn the moniker “the modern-day Evel Kneviel” for nothing.

Together with Skullcandy and Red Bull Media House’s On Any Sunday, Maddison put his reputation to the test with one of the most ridiculous stunts I’ve seen in recent years. For a guy who has performed stunts at the Arc de Triomphe in front of Paris Las Vegas and the Tower Bridge in London, Maddo’s insane “drop-in” at Utah’s Olympic Park is about as mental as it can get.

First he rides his bike through the bobsleigh track inside the park, which in itself is no easy feat. From there, he runs through the park’s dirt track before stopping at the top of a ski jump, presumably to compose himself. Then he rides down the slide seemingly doing it vertically before launching off the ski jump, getting tons of air in the process and landing safely in the ground.

In the process, Maddison not only proved that his mental faculties aren’t all there, but more importantly, that jump was good enough to break the world record->ke3224 for largest vertical drop on a motorbike.

The stunt actually happened late last year as part of a full-length documentary film about Maddo called “On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter”. But stunts like this are the ones worth revisiting, and rest assured, it’s still as hair-rising now as it was back then.
