Yamaha’s->ke301 run at the 2015 FIM Endurance World Championship hasn’t so far gone as smooth as last year’s title-winning squad. It’s currently sitting in the middle of the pack after finishing in fifth place during the series’ first round race at Le Mans back in April 18 and 19, 2015. But Yamaha’s an eternal optimist, and it appears that it’s channeling all that positive thinking into the creation of this highlight video from the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto race.

Credit goes to the people within Yamaha who produced this video. Despite the team’s struggles during the race, the video makes it look like the team actually did better than it did. That’s the power of editing flexing its muscles, ladies and gentlemen.

To be fair, the race did feature a bevy of dramatic moments, as is always the case when it comes to the 24 Hours of Le Mans Moto. But in the end, Yamaha GMT94 just couldn’t compete with the pace of SERT Suzuki, which took home the checkered flag ahead of runner-up SRC Kawasaki and third-place team Team Bolliger Switzerland.

Meanwhile, GMT94 Yamaha suffered through a myriad of technical problems throughout the race, forcing the team to perform numerous emergency pit stops to get the problems in order. But all those delays cost the team valuable chunks of time, forcing it to settle for fifth with the hopes of better performances in the three remaining rounds of the FIM Endurance World Championship.

The team will bounce back because that’s what champions do. But the fact that it’s already behind the proverbial eight-ball after just one race will tell you how much resolve the team has when it’s backs are against the wall.
