As manufacturers scramble for new riders, Ducati is going for the youngest of the young to start brand loyalty at an early age as it opens the very first motorcycle-brand themed area in an amusement park. Ducati World at Mirabilandia

Yeah, yeah, plenty of food and official Ducati apparel will abound in the new themed area of the park, but get this: The Ducati World attractions will include a racing-inspired interactive roller coaster intended to simulate a ride on a Panigale V4. The idea is to transform visitors into real Panigale riders by letting them control bike acceleration and braking, and making every run an actual head-to-head race between bikes speeding along parallel rails.

Ducati World will give visitors a chance to live an exciting journey inside the Ducati brand,” says Ducati Licensing and Corporate Partnership Director, Alessandro Cicognani. “Thanks to this agreement, together with Parques Reunidos we’re developing the first motorcycle-themed area in an Italian amusement park. Mirabilandia’s location, at the heart of the Motor Valley, adds further value to this project dedicated to fun.”

Ducati World, which will occupy over 8.5 acres at the park, is slated to open in 2019.
