I've often heard it repeated that troubles come in threes, and that certainly seems to be the case with this latest round of recalls from the Tuning Fork Company->ke301. Apparently, up to 22,433 FZ-09, FJ->ke2717-09 and XSR->ke5555900 bikes within the 2015-17 model years may have a potential problem that causes the handlebar clamp to loosen and allow the bars to pivot within the clamp. Needless to say, this is bad, m'kay? It turns out that a pair of mistakes including improper painting and poor application of Loctite is to blame.

Folks, this is definitely a safety-related problem, and recall repairs should never be performed at home, so be sure to follow up on this through the proper channels.
