This year, the Bar & Shield brand turns 115-years-old, and the company plans to leave no stone unturned to celebrate it with its fans worldwide. Doing so, they have also released two limited edition paint jobs and 115th-anniversary eagle badges on nine models of their lineup destined to become machines for collectors.

Harley has always celebrated such milestones with a bang, be it their first ever one on their 85th, 100th, or their 110th anniversaries, and each has surpassed their previous celebrations by a huge way. This time too the brand plans of treating everyone with a cynosure and for the first time, Harley invites those non-riders as well to enjoy the big bash set for August 29 – September 2.

Like every year, this year too Harley will be accommodating folks from all over the world and from all walks of life into their celebrations. For people to ride a limited edition make to this celebration, the Milwaukee brand has released a special matte Blue color theme called “Legend Blue Denim” with the 115-year celebratory bold Eagle graphics across the tank for the Forty-Eight, Breakout, Fat boy and the Street Glide Special.

The Street Glide gets the bold 115-year celebratory logo on the ‘Batwing’ fairing and the pannier on the left, while the tank gets the words going on the right. There is one another design saved for the anniversary with the “Legend Blue & Vivid Black” combination.

The tank emblem, however, is the same 115-year celebratory embossed Eagle made of brass. Models having this are the Fat Boy (only one with both limited-edition color option), Street Glide, Heritage Classic, Ultra Limited, Tri Glide Ultra and the range-topping CVO Limited.

The anniversary color option will cost around $1,000 more than the standard variant and is available only for a limited number of makes. We don’t have how many limited numbers will be available or for how long, but be sure to book one for yourself before the celebrations begin.

Highlighting the start of the legacy will be the cross-country rides that will terminate ultimately in the brand’s own backyard, Milwaukee on the Labour Day weekend. Centered around Harley’s museum telling the world about the brand’s rich heritage, there will be a number of activities spread across the city celebrating the passion for the freedom of two wheels. Events include artists paying homage to the brand’s history, photography, tattooing, pinstriping, live stunt shows and Motorcycle field games that invited anybody to participate.

The games have genres like Slow Races, Plank Ride, T-ball, Barrel Roll, Ball on Cone and Weenie Bite. There is even a custom bike show where customers can showcase their builds with Harley underpinnings. All of these larger than life events will go live on the H-D Museum website in June. There will be live music shows and live food counters spread across the town to feel revelers.
