Ever since its debut in 1998, the Hornet has always been a crowd-pleaser but never because of its feature list, and this is exactly what Honda aims to change with the 2023 Hornet. As we suspected from the bike’s teaser, the motorcycle boasts a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster, and it lets you toggle through truckloads of rider aids like rider modes, traction control, engine braking, and even wheelie control.

What about underpinnings, you ask? You’ll be happy to know the Hornet is built around a diamond steel chassis, sprung on 41mm Showa SFF-BP and a Pro-link monoshock. In the meantime, dual 296mm disc brakes (clamped by Nissin calipers) help slow down this ~419 pound beast. For comparison, the CB650R tips the scale at 454 pounds while the Aprilia Tuono 660 weighs 403 pounds.

Some colors of the new Hornet even boast red-colored chassis and forks which ups the sporty aspect. However, design is a subjective affair, so do let us know your take on it by commenting below.
