Cleaner Air To The Engine
The new air box has been reconfigured and placed at a higher, more centralized location for filtering and processing air. The no-tools air box features a dual-room design, capturing dirty air in one portion of the box and clean air in the other before sending it to the engine.

Equipped with Tri-Mode Dynamic Power Steering (DPS) and Visco-Lok QE auto-locking front differential you can select less steering assistance at high speeds and more at low speeds, ensuring you always have optimal control.
More Efficient Design
The next-generation, industry-exclusive SST G2 frame with Geometric Contact Control. The more efficient welded-steel frame incorporates new processes and updated geometry for increased structural integrity, improved durability, and precision handling.
Eliminates Scrub and Camber Changes
The only independent rear suspension that eliminates scrub and camber changes, meaning the wheels pivot up and down rather than in a butterfly motion. This ensures the vehicle moves only in the direction you point it. Reconfigured for improved traction and optimal transfer of power to the ground.
Better Steering Feel
Includes dive-control geometry for better cornering and vehicle-braking dynamics. The use of a shortened spindle, along with anti-kickback geometry, provide a better steering feel. The 9-in suspension travel increases trail comfort and aggressive riding capability.
The Tri-Mode DPS™ features three selectable modes (MIN, MED, and MAX) of steering depending on rider preference. It is designed to offer less assist at high speed and more assist at low speed. Direct Link technology ensures fast response and less kickback. Also comes with Visco-Lok† QE.
All DPS-equipped models have Visco-Lok† QE, which has all the features and benefits of the standard quick-engagement Visco-Lok† differential, but with an even quicker engagement point. This differential, unlike some competitors’ differentials, does not have a speed limiter.
12-in cast-aluminum wheels with machined finish. The centerless design reduces unsprung weight and offers improved strength. Durability was increased in strategic areas while excess material was eliminated in other spots to save weight.
Ride in comfort with advanced dynamic passenger ergonomics. Including a passenger backrest that reduces kickback, plus ergonomic handholds and footrests, you can tour in comfort wherever the trail takes you.
A redesigned backrest reduces kickback and has added flex. It’s also raised and angled to boost comfort and support. The passenger sits comfortably thanks to foot grip angles that create a natural resting position. Handholds flex to reduce impacts on the hands while riding.
Redesigned cargo racks offer more convenience, durability, versatility, and cargo hauling capacity. Reinforced composite racks offer an integrated anti-skid surface and elevated ridge. Predetermined “cutouts” for use with Can-Am’s exclusive LinQ accessory system. Combined rack capacity of 300 lb.
A huge 5.7-gallon (21.4L) water-resistant rear storage box offers industry-leading cargo capacity and is located beneath the rear cargo rack. The more convenient location means riders can access the water-resistant, sealed storage box even when the rear cargo rack is loaded.

The most lighting output of any ATV in the industry. Restyled headlights honor the Can-Am heritage while offering enhanced visibility for trail riding. On high beam, the twin 60-W projectors and dual 55-W reflectors give the Outlander 230 W of visual clarity.
Tells the rider everything in one easy glance. Our easy-to-read multi-function gauge is equipped with a digital information center, including a speedometer, tachometer, odometer, trip meter, gear position, hour meter, engine hour meter, temperature and engine lights, fuel gauge, and clock.
Convertible Passenger Seating
Takes the Outlander MAX from one-up to two-up in a matter of seconds. Gives you plenty of storage in one-up mode and unmatched comfort and convenience for your passenger when riding two-up.
