One such shop is Bad Land which has as many as 150 (!) custom Harley builds under its belt. Today, we’re featuring the 90th motorcycle that was worked on by the bikemaker, a super-sexy Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight, dubbed Dark Side.

Harley-Davidson’s electric sub-brand LiveWire has finally introduced its second electric motorcycle, the S2 Del Mar Launch Edition.

As the name suggests, this is a limited-edition - consider it a taster - of the production model of the S2 Del Mar, that’s expected to set foot next year boasting similar design, specs, and components as the Launch Edition.

Last year, Harley-Davidson forayed into the premium ADV space by taking the wraps off the Pan America 1250, its first-ever adventure bike.

But stunter Rob Carpenter is one man with a reputation for doing some pretty insane things on Harley-Davidsons. This video is a prime example of that very fact where the stunt rider is seen popping up a 90-degree wheelie on Harley’s sporty cruiser, the XL 1200 Roadster.

In the motorcycling industry, it’s sort of an unsaid rule to follow up a successful faired sportbike with an equally bonkers but more versatile streetfighter, and we’ve seen all leading manufacturers do this from time to time. The latest one to do so is Aprilia, who has taken the wraps off the new GPR250S naked motorcycle, based on the fully-faired GPR250R sold in Asian markets.

Aprilia sportbikes have been synonymous with V-4 engines for quite a long time. However, few know that the Italian giant first tried its luck with the good ol’ V-twin setup, birthing two superbikes, namely the RSV Mille and its successor, the RSV 1000 R.

Thanks to Aprilia now specializing in V4 engines, these two bikes are essentially a piece of rich history and if you’re looking for the latter, Iconic Motorbike Auctions has got you covered.

Just a couple of months back, Ducati took the wraps off its newest “middleweight” ADV, the DesertX, and the bike grew on a lot of people, thanks to its Dakar-inspired styling.

So much so, in fact, that digital artist Nick Murray (@muzza.nz on Instagram) even took things one step ahead, reimagining it as a Ducati supermoto bike, which he calls the 937 XSM. Now, we know Ducati already has the Hypermotard 950 in its stable, serving as a supermoto offering, but hey, the sky’s the limit when it comes to imagining things in the digital world.

600cc motorcycles are often treated as downright “slow” by superbike owners, especially people with Hayabusas, and it makes sense since there’s a huge power advantage with the latter.

However, this drag race between a Suzuki GSX-R600 and Suzuki Hayabusa will make you think twice before calling a 600cc bike slow again. Ready to have your mind blown? Well, let’s get into it then.

With EVs becoming more and more common, we’re starting to get used to seeing some standout products (both in a good and bad way).

One such bike is the new EV1000 electric bike that’s built by Indonesia-based Katalis in collaboration with popular premium automobile seller, TheArsenale. This motorcycle takes inspiration from old-school WWII fighter aircrafts.

Hate ‘em or love ‘em, but you just can no longer ignore motorcycles made in China. Now, I know that Chinese motorcycles generally get your attention because they look like cheap rip-offs of European bikes, but Chinese bikemaker Gaokin is trying to change this perception with its new ‘thunderous’ cruiser dubbed the Thor GK 1000.

Before diving into the details, let me tell you Gaokin is part of the massive Chongqing group that also owns British bikemaker Brixton. With that out of the way, let’s get to it.

Before unveiling the 2022 Nightster to the world, Harley-Davidson contacted a handful of lucky custom bike shops throughout the world to spruce up and create their own iterations of the new motorcycle, with just one condition - the engine remains as is.

One of the six bike shops was Japan-based Hide Motorcycle run by Hideya Togashi who converted the all-new Nighster into an insane-looking street tracker.

Going the polar opposite way of its rivals, Kawasaki has announced that it’ll be bringing back the Ninja ZX-6R for 2023, with the production of motorcycle already underway.

This leaves the ZX-6R, one of the few MY23 Supersports on sale in the country, and with barely any supersport rivals, especially after Yamaha strangled the neck of the YZF-R6 last year, the stage is set for Ninja to wipe the floor with it.

Yamaha has a long lineup of motocross bikes in its stable and for 2022, the Japanese giant is upping its game.

A case in point is their all-new Yamaha YZ125, the company’s first substantially revised 125cc motocrosser in..wait for it..15 YEARS!

QJMotor, one of China’s leading bike makers, after showcasing its bikes at the 2021 EICMA show has now finally set foot in Europe. One of the bikes in QJ’s European lineup is the sporty naked motorcycle, dubbed the SRK700, and it falls right in the crosshairs of the Yamaha MT-07.

Ducati is home to several astounding motorcycles and one such piece of art is the SportClassic GT1000.

The Suzuki MotoGP team has established itself as one of the strongest teams in the paddock over the past few years. They even bagged a world title in 2020 and are currently one of the title favorites this year.

You’d expect such a strong team to be regular sighting in the MotoGP paddock for years to come, but in a shocking move, Suzuki is looking to exit from MotoGP at the end of 2022.

Usually, when you learn of Students building a bike for some kind of project, your mind immediately forms an image of some weird-looking, gas-chugging motorcycle held together by duct tapes. This, however, is an exception arguably one of the finest examples of a project bike that you’ll come across.

Built by a team of fifteen students from Twente University in the Netherlands, the Delta XE (no, it’s not inspired by the new Covid-19 variant) is an electric race-only superbike, capable of breaching past 186mph, which is set to take part in four racing championships this year.

Modern-day sportbikes, such as the Yamaha YZF-R1, are super fast. That being said, true blue enthusiasts still remain adamant that there’s just something about the raw performance of old-school sportbikes with no electronic leash around their necks, such as the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R.

In a sea of custom Royal Enfields, we rarely come across some truly exceptional projects. This, however, is exactly that.

Dubbed ‘Dunaali’ (meaning a double-barrel shotgun), this custom Continental GT 650 has been created by India-based Greasehouse Customs who wanted to build something that looks fast and goes even faster.

Since it first came into being, the Suzuki Hayabusa was one of the fastest motorcycles in the world and it blew everyone away with its ballistic performance.

While the ‘Busa was quick to gain a lot of popularity, the Yamaha V-Max with similarly insane numbers always went under the radar, even though many people claimed the V-Max was actually faster than the Busa off the line!

To find out whether this is indeed true, we did a little scouting on YouTube and came across this drag race between a 2009 Suzuki Hayabusa and a 2009 Yamaha V-Max which…well, blew our minds.

Icon Motorsports is not only responsible for the creation of some truly epic helmets, but the company also posts some truly rad videos on YouTube such as the ten-month-old crazy car vs bike drift battle.

Following up on that, Icon has now premiered an action-packed video that shows celebrated stunt rider Tony Carbajal putting his own Ducati Panigale V4 in places you would never expect a Panigale to show up. Let’s get to it, shall we?

The Yamaha V-Max (yes, the bike in the Ghost Rider sequel) was arguably the most impressive power cruiser in the Japanese bikemakers’ lineup, made popular of course for its 70-degree V4 engine and distinctive styling.

Even though Yamaha only updated the V-max once in its fairly long life cycle (1985-2020), not many know that a special edition of the bike debuted in 2005. It was a bike that marked the V-max’s 20-year anniversary.

Only 2000 of these were made available to the public and one such bike (#268/2000) is currently up for grabs at Bring A Trailer.

In today’s dose of your drag race fix, we’ve brought you an EV vs ICE motorcycle showdown, where an Energica Ego electric motorcycle, one of the fastest electric bikes out there, attempts to ruffle the feathers of two Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10Rs.

The Harley-Davidson Sportster S was the first offering in the bikemaker’s rejuvenated Sportster lineup, and though it looks striking out of the box, there were a couple of parts that could be swapped to enhance the bike’s visual appeal.

That’s exactly what Rick’s Motorcycles, an authorized Harley dealer based in Germany has done. They have prepped up a custom Sportster S with subtle tweaks, transforming the bike into a sexy beast.

We say subtle because when you look at the custom bike, it still looks very much like a Sportster S but, the bike features plenty of small but significant changes to amp up the package.

The Suzuki Hayabusa has an illustrious past attached to it, all of which started with the OG first-gen model. The follow-up Gen-II ‘Busa, though, pushed the goal post further, making even more power, and selling in extreme numbers throughout the world.

The KTM 990 Duke was the OG Super Duke before the ballistic 1290 version came along, and if you’re a fan of the former, we’ve got good news for you.

An all-new twin-cylinder KTM naked has been spied testing near the bikemaker’s factory in Mattighofen, Austria. The test mule was flaunting a revised version of its LC8c engine, thus confirming a resurrection of the 990 Duke. This makes total sense. After all, it’d be an ideal next step in KTM’s middleweight lineup, comprising the 790 Duke, 890 Duke, and the 890 Duke R.

Even though electric motorcycles are still primarily considered a means of basic transportation, there are no two ways that these bikes have the potential to be epic drag racers, thanks to the massive amount of torque at hand, not to mention all of it is instant.

Realizing this potential, Dresden-based Hookie Co. had a crazy idea of creating a silent drag racer ahead of the Glemseck 101 festival which will debut an electric-only category this year. Now, the custom bikemaker has brought this idea to reality, and it’s called the ‘Silver Ant’.

Thanks to their classic looks, likable riding dynamics, and a variety of engine options, the Yamaha XSR’s have created a big name for themselves in their respective segments.

Now, to pay homage to this rich legacy of the XSR lineup, Yamaha has taken the wraps off a special Legacy Edition of the XSR125 that looks stunning as ever.

The Energica Ego electric sportbike claims to have some staggering performance numbers, capable of putting many ICE sportbikes to shame.

The question however is, what this corresponds to in the real world, more importantly in a straight line. Wondering the same thing? Lucky for you, that’s exactly what i’m answering here.

Ducati is home to some gorgeous motorcycles, and it continues that streak of churning out evocative machines to this day. One exception, however, was the Supersport 1000DS, which looked…well, ordinary.

So when a customer brought his 2003 Ducati Supersport 1000DS to SCM (Simone Conti Motorcycles) for a custom job, the plan was simple - give the bike a thorough makeover.

The result? Well, it’s simply WILD as you’re about to find out.

QJMotor, the Chinese partner company of big names like Harley-Davidson and MV Agusta, is on course to update its 600cc sportbike, the 600RR, in a couple of days. Lucky for us, though, most of its details are already out, all suggesting that it’s more than capable of taking on the popular Honda CBR650R.

German custom bikemaker Cult Werk is popular for its rad Harley-Davidson builds (check out their custom Sportster S here) which, more often than not, feature some crazy detail.

However, I recently got a chance to swing a leg over the Pan Am 1250 and I’m happy to report that the bike felt like Bruce Banner rather than an angry Hulk waiting to Hulk-smash the life outta you.

Royal Enfield might have taken down the Bullet and Classic 500 from its portfolio, but the old-school bikes still remain a popular choice with custom shops throughout the world.

On that note, we bring to you a dapper custom Royal Enfield Classic 500 hailing from Jakarta-based, FrontWheel Motors. Let’s dive into its details.

In comes, the new RGNT Scrambler, an electric motorcycle from Sweden which boasts an uncanny resemblance to the popular RE Interceptor and in fact, does a few things better. Let’s take a look.

Every other day we get to see new EVs popping onto the scene, but only a few of them actually make headlines.

One such EV, belonging to the latter kind, is the Alrendo TS Bravo, an electric motorcycle hailing from Europe, which boasts a massive 438km (272 miles) range on a single charge without breaking the bank with it. Intrigued? Well, let’s take a look.

For today’s drag-race feature video special, we have a lady rider on a souped-up 2014 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R trying to take on a dude aboard an equally souped-up 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. Now, the result might be what you’d expect, but the quarter-mile times here are nothing short of mind-blowing.

Andrea Iannone had a fairly short-lived MotoGP career but quickly established himself as a force not to be reckoned with, thanks to his aggressive riding style and quick lap times. All this came to an end soon, though, as the rider made headlines in a doping case, ultimately getting him banned from MotoGP.

This, however, hasn’t put a stop to the rider’s motorcycle craze and we constantly see Iannone posting his dope-looking motorcycles across his social media the latest one to join this list is a one-off custom Harley-Davidson.

A 250cc motorcycle with an inline-four engine sounds insane but it was clearly not crazy enough for Japanese-based custom bikemaker Trick Star, the same company responsible for the epic, viral white and green Kawasaki Ninja H2R.

So in order to spice things up a bit, Trick Star set out a goal to top 250kmph (155mph) on Kawasaki’s Ninja ZX-25R in 2021. Almost six months on and one blown engine later, the firm has finally achieved this target and their bike managed to hit a speedo-indicated 252kmph (156mph). Here’s how they did it.

Last year at the 2021 EICMA, CFMoto showcased its mind-blowing SR-C21 concept, which was an instant hit and was expected to birth a multi-cylinder CFMoto sportbike in the future.

Now, a few months later, this seems to be coming true as the Chinese bikemaker has filed type-approval documents for its biggest sportbike yet, called the 450SR. The documents have now been leaked, revealing quite a few details about the bike.

Neo-retro motorcycles are a special breed of bikes that blend old-school charm with modern-day hardware and a key player in this niche segment is the Yamaha XSR900.

Even though it’s barely a year old, Germany-based custom bikemaker Cult Werk, who specialize in sourcing up Harley’s have turned up the heat on the already good-looking Sportster S to create a one-off Sportster S.
