Cessna Citation Jet 1+ is a turbofan-powered light corporate jet built by Cessna and developed as an improved version of the Citation CJ1. It is distinguished especially because of the two Williams International FJ-44-1AP engines.
The CJ1+ was first communicated at the NBAA annual convention in 2004 and gains its type certificate less than a year later.
The basis for this aircraft was the Model 525.

Top Speed:447 mph

Like the rest of the popular CJ line, the 1+ features Williams engines (FJ44-1AP for the CJ1+) and Collins Pro Line 21 avionics.
In 2006, Cessna delivered 1,239 aircraft, including 307 Citation business jets, and registered revenues of about $4.2 billion and a backlog of $8.5 billion. Since the company was originally accepted in 1927, some 190,000 Cessna airplanes have been distribute to nearly every country in the world.

The global fleet of more than 5,000 Citations aircrafts is the largest fleet of business jets in the world.
The CJ1 improved on the CitationJet by adding a more-modern EFIS avionics suite and a moderate development in maximum takeoff weight.

The CJ1 has been modernized by the CJ1+, which shares the same airframe but has an extra updated avionics package, and FADEC to allow the engines to be kept under control by a computer rather than mechanical controls.
At 41,000 feet, the CJ1+ can travel more than 20 kts faster than the CJ1.
In addition, a 100-pound gross weight increase of the CJ1+ allows it to carry more payloads over greater distances.

Takeoff Distance - 3,250 ft (991 m)

NBAA IFR range with single pilot and three passengers is 1,285 nm. CJ1+ takeoff distance is 3,260 feet and landing distance is 2,590 feet.
All these improvements are delivered at an unbeatable price.
Another important element is the special acoustic-blanket soundproofing, that make the cabin one of the quietest.
So, this aircraft has more speed, more range and climbs higher having less fuel.

Top speed of 389 knots (720 km/h), range of 1,297 nautical miles (2402 km),

Highly accomplished at most any mission

Having a unique natural laminar-flow wing, CJ1+ and CJ2+’s performance is enhanced.
This laminar-flow wing keeps an uninterrupted flow of air across a greater area of its surface; this means an increase in airspeed when compared to earlier designs.
To help you safely an anti-ice protection on the windshield, wings, engine inlets and pylons is realized.
You can land on smooth surface from now one; because Citation CJ1+ has a useful component like a trailing-link landing gear which also will permits the access to a multitude of airports.

The Williams FJ44-1AP engines deliver more control than the original CJ1 powerplants, but we also discover some other interesting components like the nacelles and pylons redesigned; a fairing over the main gear wheel.
The aircraft can now climb directly to 41,000 feet (12,497 m) in 27 minutes, because the maximum takeoff weight has increased 100 pounds (45 kg) – a major progress from the 58-minute step climb of the earlier CJ1.

max cruise 389 knots (448 mph or 720 km/hr)

Having the addition of full-authority digital engine controls (FADEC) will simplify the engine operation and reduce pilot workload during the complex phases of flight.
Williams FJ44-1AP turbofan engines are controlled by two dual channels FADEC.
The engine has a twin-spool design with three compression stages and three turbine stages and also produces 1,965 pounds (8.74 kN) of thrust at sea level, static conditions, flat rated up to 72°F (22°C). The FADEC system also offers you the time-limited dispatch, diagnostics, and engine synchronization.

Having all these benefits the flight is not only safe but also relaxed.

Cockpit commonality

The familiarity to the controls and the ease of pilot operation will give you more trust to take your family and to have a nice trip.
The blend of the latest thinking in human factors engineering, the ergonomics and user experience design to create environments will make the air travel safer, simpler and more pleasurable.

Proven parts

“Any new part, structure or material has to earn its way onto our aircraft.”
What that means for Cessna customers is that this jet has been tested exhaustively to prove its stability and trustworthiness.
Now, the pilot operation will not require much effort, because you’ll notice certain "rightness" to the flight deck, a sense of familiarity to the controls and that make flying safer, simpler and more pleasurable.
The best devotion to provide some of the safest aircraft in the world; comes only from Cessna.
