We can affirm that the CJ4 flight deck is literally the finest in the world because of some important characteristics.
With Pro Line 21, the pilots focus is where it needs to be – on flying the aircraft. Our fully integrated flight deck for the CJ4 has significantly improved crew situational awareness, offering superior operational professionalism and built-in growth capability to meet evolving airspace and regulatory necessities.
The Pro Line 21 package characteristics: four huge 8 x 10-inch AMLCD color displays teamed with dual Control Display Units (CDUs) forward of the throttle quadrant.
Having all these pilot workload will be significantly reduced. Also some changes are made at the panel, it is tilted now and instead of toggle switches there are push buttons.
The cockpit’s electrically heated windshields and side windows keep the flight deck whisper-quiet and your ride will be more relaxed.

Digital Connectivity

The optional CJ4 facilities include electronic charts and approach plates, broadcast graphical weather and data uplinks, FMS performance database and other emerging graphical technologies.

Flight Management System

The workload is reduced automatically because of some advantages like: a single Collins FMS-3200 works in conjunction with the pilot-side CDU and is synchronized with the second CDU.
To present a blended navigation solution the FMS-3200 mix together an integrated WAAS-capable GPS with DME and VOR sensor inputs. Also a second FMS-3200 is available as an option.

Diagnostics System

The Pro Line 21 works in conjunction with the Maintenance Diagnostic System to offer a listing of faults, advanced diagnostics data, for each fault and fault history to assist in general maintenance.

Cessna Citation CJ4 Engine

Maximum Cruise Speed – 518 mph

The Williams FJ44-4A engines associated with the aerodynamic enhancements give exceptional performance benefits.
The main characteristics for the CJ4 engine are: max payload is 2,100 pounds (953 kg), full-fuel payload tips in at an even 1,000 pounds (454 kg) and also the engine generates 3,400 pounds (15.12 kN) of thrust.
Even more benefits: At maximum takeoff weight, the CJ4 will lift off on as little as 3,300 feet (1,006 m) of runway and it needs only 2,665 feet (812 m) to land. In just 28 minutes the CJ4 will climb directly to 45,000 feet (13,716 m).

Range - 1,963 nm (3,635 km)

CJ4 is an easy to fly aircraft, the pilot workload will be significantly reduced, also because of the FADEC - full-authority digital engine controls, which simplify engine control and operation.
The Williams FJ44-4A turbofan engine has a twin-spool design with three turbine stages and four compression stages, in addition it is a medium bypass, generating 3,400 pounds (15.12 kN) of takeoff thrust at sea level, static conditions, flat rated up to 79°F (26°C).
The FADEC system helps a lot the engines, providing time-limited dispatch, diagnostics, and engine synchronization.

Safety is always at the forefront.

There are a lot of reasons why the Citation sold more airplanes than anyone else in history.
The exceptional performance and payload are the main characteristics but also we can add the interior comfort, reliability, value and the peace of mind that comes standard with every Cessna aircraft.
Safety begins with a durable and stable airframe. This airframe is stress-tested five times the aircraft’s regular lifetime.
The Citation aircraft landed more than 18 million times and have logged more than 20 million flight hours that means good performances.

Cockpit commonality

The familiarity to the controls and the ease of pilot operation will give you more confidence to take your family and to have a nice trip.
The blend of the latest thinking in human factors engineering, the ergonomics and user experience design to create environments, will make your trip safer, simpler and more pleasurable.

Proven parts

“Any new part, structure or material has to earn its way onto our aircraft.”
What that means for Cessna customers is that this jet has been tested exhaustively to demonstrate its stability and trustworthiness.
Now, the pilot operation will not require much effort, because you’ll notice certain "rightness" to the flight deck, a sense of familiarity to the controls and that make flying safer, simpler and more pleasurable.
The best devotion to offer some of the safest aircraft in the world comes only from Cessna.
