From the same garage screen you can also click on gadgets to buy things like a missile launcher, freeze ray, magnet, and even an EMP emitter. Keep in mind, however, that those gadgets are expensive, so don’t expect to unlock them right away.

If you click on the Bomb button in the garage screen, you can buy different bombs to use during your racing, including frag grenades and shrink bombs, among others. Like the gadgets, these bombs get more expensive depending on their effectiveness, so don’t expect to get the best one right away.
