Sandstorm is an exciting desert-themed racing game that puts you behind the wheel of a dune buggy, competing against five other racers in different races. The game’s objective is simple. Race against your rivals and try to beat them by posting fast lap times.

You’ll need to complete laps by passing through highlighted checkpoints. Go past these checkpoints and you’re going to return to your last saved mark in the race. This will cost you precious time. Collect as many credits as you can so you can afford to buy new buggies that can beat your rivals easily.

This version of Sandstorm is different from the other game of the same name. That game, also called Sandstorm, is a Call of Duty-type, combat and objective-oriented, first-person shooter game that puts you right in the heart of a geopolitical conflict. We’ll save that game for another time.

This version of Sandstorm is a fun, straight-up racing tame that will test your racing skills against the computer. There’s an online element to this game, too, so be sure to power-slide your way to fast lap times so you can submit these times and compare them with the times of some of the best racers in the world.
