One of the customized Ford models presented at Los Angeles Auto was a Fusion with Galpin Auto Sport. A performance suspension keeps the 19-inch wheels and Nitto Invo tires glued to the road. Inside, a Katzkin leather interior, features a six-point roll cage, leather and suede steering wheel and GAS custom audio system.
Ford presented at Los Angeles Auto Show the Steeda Focus Club Racer. A 3D Carbon Euro Series body kit is accented by Steeda custom grille, front fender treatments and Club Racer graphics. The 18-inch, Steeda Open Mesh performance wheels wear Nitto NT01 high-performance tires.

Volkswagen Slipstream design sketch was announced as the winner of the Los Angeles Auto Show’s 2007 Design Challenge. Kia unveiled the all-new KND-4 compact SUV concept vehicle at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. Subaru of America unveiled the all-new 2008 Impreza WRX STI at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The ultimate performance Subaru is powered by a 305-horsepower Boxer engine and features a new level of driver-selectable powertrain- and dynamic handling-control. The 2008 WRX STI is built exclusively as an aggressively styled wide-fender 5-door model with a design strongly influenced by the brand’s competition heritage.
Hyundai unveiled the Veloster Sporty Coupe Concept at the Los Angeles International Auto Show for the first time in North America. Styled at Hyundai’s Design and Technical Center at Namyang, Korea the Veloster coupe is the third in a series of daring concept cars to be developed by the company’s central styling studio.
The BMW 1 Series Coupe made its North American debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. By combining sporty rear-wheel-drive dynamics, agile handling, powerful engines and seating for four, the 1 Series Coupe will reinvent the niche created by the legendary BMW 2002. On sale in the spring of 2008, the 1 Series Coupe will be available in two versions; the 128i and the 135i. Pricing will start from $35,675 for the 135i and $29,375 for the 128i.
The 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid — the first General Motors vehicle to use the company’s all-new two-mode hybrid system — has been named Green Car Journal’s 2008 Green Car of the Year(R). The award was presented at a press conference this morning at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
