Bugatti's Toying with the Idea of a New Model That Isn't an SUV, Except It Could Pass Off as an SUV

Bugatti’s Toying with the Idea of a New Model That Isn’t an SUV, Except It Could Pass Off as an SUV

Isn’t this just a case of semantics?

Bugatti’s desire to build up its lineup is one of the worst kept secrets in the auto industry. The French automaker wants to diversify its lineup with a model that will offer a completely different experience from the Chiron and all its derivatives. An SUV has been talked about so many times already, but it seems that Bugatti isn’t leaning in that direction, or at least that’s what it’s claiming.

Company boss Stephan Winkelmann recently talked to CAR Magazine and emphatically shot down rumors that Bugatti is considering developing an SUV. As far as what Bugatti is considering, let’s just say that even if it isn’t an SUV, it might actually be one anyway.

2020 Ferrari F8 Spider - Quirks and Facts

2020 Ferrari F8 Spider - Quirks and Facts

The Ferrari F8 Spider Is Almost As Quick As The 488 Spider Pista

Although somewhat overshadowed by the reveal of the last front-engined V-12 Ferrari convertible - the 812 GTS - the new Ferrari F8 Spider still enchanted the right people. Largely favorable reactions to its exterior appearance demonstrate that Ferrari Design Studio knows a thing or two about design even without the help from Pininfarina. Interestingly enough, neither the 812 nor the F8 Spider wore the trademark Rosso Corsa color at their reveal, but they have still picked up a lot of publicity.

The F8 Spider, despite gorgeous, isn’t exactly a lot different compared to the F8 Tributo. The only notable change is, of course, the removable hardtop that stows under the rear tonneau cover in 14 seconds. It needs the same time to fold like the one in the Ferrari 812 GTS.

Rivian Just Got a Huuuge Order for Its Electric Delivery Trucks

That’s right, Rivian is adding all-electric delivery vans to its portfolio

You’re probably aware of each and every carmaker’s efforts of lowering emissions within their car lineups but also when it comes to the carbon footprint of their plants. BMW, in particular, have been taking such steps, but the trend isn’t alive solely among car manufacturers.

Giants such as Amazon are also looking to cut down on their carbon emissions, and what better way to start such a campaign - or better said, reinforce it - than by buying a huge fleet of all-electric delivery trucks.

Here's What You Need to Know About Choosing the Color of Your 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

Here’s What You Need to Know About Choosing the Color of Your 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

There are actually a lot of choices

We can’t not like the Blue colors that adorned the Shelby GT500 that was showcased during the car’s big debut. It was a beautiful color, and it fit the car pretty damn well. Of course, it looked even better because of the color of carpet it was displayed on, but that’s neither here nor there. What if you don’t want blue? Maybe you want pull-me-over-red (not that’s not a real color) or some variation of blue or purple even? Well, the Shelby GT500 is offered with your choice of 11 different colors, some of which you can have for free, and others you have to pay for. Oh, and about those racing stripes… we’ve got you covered on that too. Here’s what you need to know.

Think Driving Nannies Are Bad Now? Toyota Wants to Tell You When You Can and Cannot Drive

Think Driving Nannies Are Bad Now? Toyota Wants to Tell You When You Can and Cannot Drive

It’s like communism for a car, really

Driving nannies are already starting to get a little ridiculous. If you try to take a turn too quickly, your car’s advanced stability control system may automatically apply the brakes and keep you in check. Perhaps the car doesn’t think you brake soon enough, so it brakes for you – hell, there are even situations where autonomous braking systems have been accused of braking for no reason. What if your car could evaluate your driving skills and determine what you’re able to do? What if your car can determine whether or not you drive on the freeway, in snow, or in the rain. What if your car determines how close to the imposed speed limit you can get? Sounds ridiculous, right? Well, Toyota thinks that’s the answer to driving safety.

Someone Is Preparing a Widebody Toyota Supra For SEMA and We Can't Get Enough of It

Someone Is Preparing a Widebody Toyota Supra For SEMA and We Can’t Get Enough of It

We’re literally counting down the days until SEMA 2019 finally kicks off

The new Toyota Supra has been one of the most hyped-up new cars to hit the market in recent years, for various reasons. One of them has to do with its legacy and the huge popularity of the 2JZ-powered fourth-generation Supra and the entire cult that surrounded the Japanese sports car.

Another reason is the partnership between Toyota and BMW, whose fruits are the said 2020 Supra and its cousin, the new BMW Z4. The third argument, which also happens to be strongly related to the first, comes from the Supra’s suitability for tuning jobs. Engine boosts, unique body parts, neon lights, huge wings, you name it. There isn’t a single thing that hasn’t been tried on a Supra.

So, whenever someone like Evasive Motorsports announces a widebody Toyota Supra based on the new model that’s also coming to SEMA 2019, our interest naturally piques. Read on.

Cool Quirks About The New Ferrari 812 GTS

Cool Quirks About The New Ferrari 812 GTS

Ferrari 812 GTS Is Probably The Last V-12-only Open-Top Car Ferrari Will Ever Produce

Just a day after the first Ferrari F1 Scuderia win at Monza since 2010, the Maranello-based car producer revealed two astonishing open-top cars. The elite of the world got a chance to buy, or the hope they’ll be able to buy the V-12 powered 812 GTS and the F8 Spider. Interestingly enough, the F8, as a mid-engine, V-8 powered Spider captures the essence of Ferrari’s future.

On the other hand, the 812 GTS, as the first production V-12 powered, front-engined open-top Ferrari in almost fifty years, is the one that wholeheartedly captures the essence of the brand. With an overpowered V-12 that develops 790 horsepower, rear-wheel drive, and a roof that opens in 14 seconds, the 812 GTS is a swan song. The Ferrari 812 GTS may well be the last new V-12 powered open-top car we ever see. This alone makes it far more appealing than any other open-top car on the market.

There's Lots of Porsche Goodness in the "Bad Boys for Life" Trailer, and Martin Lawrence Has Spent a Lot of Time in The Kitchen

There’s Lots of Porsche Goodness in the "Bad Boys for Life" Trailer, and Martin Lawrence Has Spent a Lot of Time in The Kitchen

The 16-year wait for the third Bad Boys movie is about to mercifully end

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 16 years since we last saw Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in a Bad Boys movie, but that’s exactly how long it’s been. Mercifully, the long wait for the “threequel” is about to end now that the trailer for the third movie in the franchise, Bad Boys For Life, has finally dropped.

It’s a typical Bad Boys film in that there’s plenty of action, explosives, dry humor, and Smith and Lawrence busting on each other. Oh, and there’s a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S in the movie, too. It’s a nice callback to the original Bad Boys movie from 1995, though I suspect some people aren’t old enough to remember that movie. Bad Boys isn’t the Fast & Furious, but for those who are old enough to remember Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s first movie together, you’ll know that Bad Boys had its fair share of drop-dead gorgeous vehicles. It’s nice to know that almost 25 years since that first movie hit the theaters, that formula hasn’t changed, even if Lawrence’s physique has.
