The Abarth 595 is a pocket rocket that makes you grin every time you drive it. If you are someone who prefers driving a slow car fast instead of a fast car slow, this needs to go on your bucket list. And, it looks like Pogea Racing understands that. The company has brought out a Hercules version that doesn’t just look sinister, but also comes with a significant power boost that will plaster a wide smile on your face.

Abarth 595 Hercules Exterior

Pogea Racing has equipped the Abarth 595 with a wide-body kit that adds a lot of street cred to this little monster. It is finished in a black exterior shade, for starters. The wide kit includes additions to the front and rear fenders, and new sidewalls and ends for the front and rear apron. If you opt for the aerodynamics package, you get additional air inlets and hood scoops. A wing makes things even more interesting.

The tuner says that all the body components are made of carbon fiber. You can either have the standard finish for these panels, or choose to go for the Forged Carbon, Honeycomb, and Camouflage finishes. Pogea Racing also has six different wheel designs to choose from – Blade, Orbi5, Edison, QM, XCut, and Wilhelm. All these are 18-inch forged wheels that come wrapped in 215/35 section Michelin tires.

Abarth 595 Hercules Drivetrain

The little hatch comes with a 1.4-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine under the hood. It makes 177 horses and 184 pound-feet of torque in the stock form in the 595 Competizione. It takes 6.2 seconds to 62 mph, shaving off five-tenths of a second compared to the stock model. The top speed is rated at 144 mph.

The changes made to the drivetrain include a flap-controlled exhaust system from MONSTERexhaust and a 200-cell downpipe with optional thermal integral insulation. Other than this, the 595 Hercules also features a Label V1 coilover kit by KW that comes with height-adjustable sport dampers in a unit with four progressively wound sport springs. Thanks to this, the vehicle’s center of gravity can be lowered by up to 1.78 inches.

Abarth 595 Hercules Pricing

Pogea Racing has priced this Hercules kit of the Abarth 595 at €18,810 excluding taxes, which roughly translates to $22,800 as per the exchange rates at the time of writing. This, of course, doesn’t include the price of the donor car.

The tuner has not released images of the interior or given any details regarding it. But, it’s the changes on the outside and under the hood that matter. The black car with 18-inch wheels and red calipers looks hot overall. There is a noticeable difference in the performance and courtesy of the coilover kit and the ride and handling must be a lot better than the standard model. The price seems a little too steep, but I’m sure there will be buyers.
