Acura RDX photos

The Acura RDX became the Japanese automaker's first compact crossover SUV when it was introduced in 2006 and is placed below the MDX in the luxury automaker's lineup. The RDX's 2.3 Liter K series four cylinder motor is Acura's first turbocharged gasoline engine and it connected to an all wheel drive system. Acura's variable flow turbocharger reduces turbo lag by using a valve to manipulate the exhaust flow inside of the turbocharger housing in order for the turbo to spool up faster and reduce lag. The Acura RDX engine is rated at 240 HP at 6,000 rpm and achieves a peak of 260 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm.
