Back in September 2021, Alfa Romeo announced the special editions Giulia and Stelvio '6C Villa d’Este.' The two models paid tribute to the 6C 2500 SS Coupé produced by Alfa Romeo in the 1940s. Now, a month later, the Italian company announced the Giulia and Stelvio GT Junior - two special edition models that pay tribute to the GT 1300 Junior - a very successful Alfa Romeo model built between 1966 and 1976.

What makes the Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio GT Junior special?

Both the to special editions are based on the "Veloce" trim level - the sportiest of the lineup.

The Stelvio GT Junior will ride on 21-inch five-hole lightweight alloy wheels, while for the Giulia Alfa Romeo opted for 19-inch wheels.

For the interior the two models will get electrically adjustable leather seats with distinctive “GT Junior” embroidery on the front headrest, plus the stylish GT 1300 Junior pattern and silhouette of the 1960s embroidered on the dashboard.

As a standard feature, all the models will get aluminum steering column shift paddles, while L2 ADAS systems, rear parking sensors, wireless charger, and an automatically operated tailgate will be offered as an option.

Under the hood, there will be a choice of two engines: a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 280 horsepower and a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine with an output of 210 horsepower. The engines will be paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and will be offered as standard with four-wheel drive, but RWD will be offered as an option for the Giulia models.
