The Aston Martin Rapide is regarded as the British automaker’s first venture into the four-door, luxury car segment. That being said, it’s not all that surprising that it’s become quite an attractive car for aftermarket companies, including British tuner Kahn Design.

Even if the Rapide is already considered one of the finest sports sedans in the world, the fact that you can fork over $200,000 for one means that you probably have enough loose change to get it fixed up even more. Kahn Design has you covered in that regard, thanks to a new program that gives the Rapide an edgier look all while retaining it’s classic and elegant profile. The British tuner added a slew of new components in the car, including mesh elements to the front bumper, aluminum billet bonnet vents, black brake calipers, a new sports exhaust system, a lowered suspension, and a new set of 21" RSX wheels that have been finished in a bright silver shade. Inside, Kahn Design has prepared a luxe of new digs, too, particularly a new Alcantara sports steering wheel, soft English leather, and bare-metal switches.

For a car that looks the way it does and boasts of a 6.0-liter V12 engine that delivers a total of 470 horsepower and 443 lb/ft of peak torque at 5000 rpm, there are a few things that the Aston Martin Rapide needs to be even more impressive than it is. But Kahn Design rolls in a different way. Knowing them the way we do, anything they work on has "improvements" written all over them.

Kirby’s first exposure into the world of automobiles happened when he caught Knight Rider on television as a five-year old boy. David Hasselhoff didn’t leave much of an impression on him (that happened later on in Baywatch), but KITT certainly did. To this day, Kirby remains convinced that he will one day own a car with the same ‘spirit’ as the original KITT (not the 2008 monstrosity). He doesn't know when that will be, but until then, he’s committed to expressing his love for KITT, and all cars for that matter, here at TopSpeed.  Read full bio

Aston’s cars always have the same sporty and luxury stance that appeals to me anyway; they’re elegant. The brilliance of the lights appended a great appearance to this Rapide.

It really is the finest sedan. The hood lines give an edge on this sedan without losing the elegance and luxuriousness of this Rapide.

Its framework is a mixture of extruded, and stamped aluminum that bond together to give this best appearance.

Kahn can give cars an elegant, sophisticated and sporty look. Kahn never make me upset in their designs.

I like its current look. Kahn gave it more sportier and more muscles than the standard Rapide.

Kahn gives Rapide a chance to have an edgier look, but still carries its elegant and classy profile.

Rapide could be the finest sports sedan in the world, but I’m still looking forward to upgrading it up into another level.

It created a different kind of definition. Maybe this is the time for Aston Martin. Khan design made it, mostly on making it stronger and improved than any other Aston models.
