2016 Aston Martin WB12 Vengeance By Kahn Design
Ever since Kahn Design teased the
based WB12 Vengeance in May 2015, updates on the car have been few and far in between. Actually, there hasn’t been so much as a peep about the project, at least until recently when the British tuner announced that the car would make its long-awaited debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
The announcement is the latest indication that Kahn Design is serious about its attempt to become a full-fledged coach builder after establishing a reputation as one of the best Land Rover tuners in the world. It’s worth noting that it was just last year at the same event that Kahn unveiled the
based 105 Longnose and the 110 WB 6x6 Flying Huntsman SUV. For an encore, the company is setting the stage for the WB12 Vengeance’s debut, and while the full swath of details have yet to be revealed, Kahn has provided a few specifics about the car, including the meaning behind its name. For instance, the WB stands for wide body while the 12 understandably points to the car’s 6.0-liter V-12 engine.
Kahn also indicated that the inspiration behind the WB12 Vengeance is the first-generation Vanquish, the Ian Callum-penned model that launched Aston Martin into the new millennium. Apparently, at least according to Kahn, Aston Martin hasn’t come close to replicating the kind of design impact the original Vanquish had when it burst into the scene back in 2001.
So, he’s taking matters into his own hands with the WB12 Vengeance. The question now is this: will the WB12 Vengeance live up to expectations? The answer to that will be determined at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

2016 Aston Martin Vantage GT12 Special Edition
In 2005, Aston Martin took on the incredible task of looking the Porsche 911 dead in the eye and not backing down, with the introduction of its Vantage. While it may not have been quite the performer of the 911, the Vantage was a stunning piece of automotive architecture in comparison to the 911. In 2011, the V12 Vantage joined the V8 model in the market, and suddenly the entire 911 lineup had something to worry about.
In 2015, Aston Martin took things up a notch and released a new limited-run model that that draws inspiration from the British carmaker’s GT3 race car. At first called the Vantage GT3, the track-ready coupe was renamed the GT12 after Porsche sued Aston Martin, claiming ownership of the GT3 name for road cars.
With the GT12, Aston Martin takes a new step in its quest to compete with the big boys of the industry. Sure, with its limited funds and resources, it can only do so much, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Does the GT12 Special Edition have what it takes to hang with the masters of the road and track?

Two of my favorite cars of all time are the Porsche 959 and the AMC Eagle (even more so in SX/4 guise), so I’ll have to admit to being a little giddy when I first saw pictures of the Aston Martin DBX. I mean, what’s not to love about an all-wheel-drive Aston Martin coupe with plenty of ground clearance? Defying conventional Aston Martin logic even further, the DBX is also the first suggestion of an all-electric vehicle from the Gaydon-based automaker.
At this point, there’s no clue what Aston Martin has in mind for the DBX Concept, but with high-lux automakers like Bentley, Maserati, Lamborghini and Rolls-Royce all getting in on (or at least considering) the SUV segment, the DBX would be a unique way for Aston Martin to join the party without angering brand loyalists too much. There is also the chance that the design is a styling exercise hinting at a future production performance grand touring car, or it’s just a way to bring Aston Martin into the EV conversation. All are possibilities, but only time will tell which, if any, proves to be true.

Q by Aston Martin — the sports car’s customization department — has brought us some gorgeous example in recent history. Whether it was the CC100 Speedster Concept that was introduced at last year’s Geneva Motor Show or Q’s first stab at the Vanquish Volante, Aston’s customization program has been a veritable hit factory.
Like a gift that just keeps on giving, Q by Aston Martin has released two addition models at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show, giving us an idea of just how talented the customization division really is.
Unlike last year’s Red Ember-finished Vanquish Volante, this one is a little more subdued, but no less incredible in its own special way. Sometimes subtle touches trump over-the-top modifications when it comes to making a fantastic custom ride. And subtlety is exactly what this custom Vanquish Volante ozzes from every pore.

Custom supercars have become quite the fad these days with a lot of companies taking the route of tailor-made personalization services to build bespoke creations.
Aston Martin has one of these bespoke divisions, and it’s built some pretty interesting vehicles since its inception. Remember the CC100 Speedster Concept from last year? Yeah, that was just one example.
This year, the British marque brought a pair of new custom vehicles courtesy of Q by Aston Martin, and one of them is this sparkling V12 Vantage S that looks especially saucy with that white body and orange garnishing.
With the increasing popularity of bespoke sports cars, companies like Aston Martin are using events like Geneva to give the people a taste of what it’s capable of. Judging by the works Q by Aston Martin has delivered since it was created a few years ago, there’s a good chance that more and more of these unique Astons will be show their faces in future auto shows.

The Geneva Motor Show will showcase some of the finest concepts and world debuts you’ll ever see this year.
But every so often, an automaker like Aston Martin makes a splash with unveilings like this one: a pair of special edition Aston Martin DB9s called the Carbon Black and the Carbon White.
The names actually give away what Aston has prepared for these hellacious beauties. Here’s a hint: there’s plenty of carbon fiber in both models.
More than that, it marks yet another auto show in which Aston Martin has quietly made an impression on, as if all those previous concepts it’s shown in past auto shows weren’t enough. The Carbon Black and Carbon White DB9s are different, though, in part because there’s reason to believe that we’ll see them well after the lights in Geneva are shut and its doors are closed.
Maybe in a dealership soon? Don’t bet against it, especially with Aston Martin.

Aston Martin has a long history of releasing special models, and its debuts for Geneva happen to include a pair of special-edition models set to knock our socks off. This is the V8 Vantage N430, which happens to be a V8 Vantage that draws inspiration from the popular CC100 model that we recently saw and the Aston Martin’s racing history.
Its striking green-and-yellow exterior paint combines well with a series of black elements and all the power coming from the V-8 under its hood. In short, this is one bad British sports car, but is it just for show or does this Jag fighter have something a little extra going on under its long hood?
For now, we only know a small portion of the details, but it is plenty of information to know what the upcoming Aston Martin V8 Vantage N430 is all about.

As promised at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Aston Martin unveiled today, May 19, 2013 at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring race the exceptional CC100 Speedster Concept - a vehicle specially designed to celebrate the company’s centenary. The CC100 made its debut by lapping the the circuit together with the 1959 DBR1 - the model that inspired. Behind the wheel was Aston Martin CEO Dr Ulrich Bez.
The new CC100 measures 4,5 m (177.16 inches) in length and 2 m (78.74 inches) in width, and, according to the first details offered by the company it features hint at potential future design direction.
The CC100 had both the body and the interior made in carbon fiber and is powered by the latest generation AM11 naturally aspirated V12 gasoline engine mated to a six-speed hydraulically actuated automated sequential manual transmission.
The Speedster can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a little over four seconds, while the top speed is limited to 180 mph.
Update 5/19/2013: The new CC100 Speedster made its world debut today at the Germany’s ADAC Zurich 24 Hours of Nürburgring race.

Aston Martin is celebrating its centenary at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show with the launch of a new personalization program called "Q by Aston Martin." This program allows customers to personalize their models according to personal wishes and desires and, according to Aston Martin, it offers "almost endless opportunity for expression."
The model Aston Martin has specially developed for the Geneva Show is a special Vanquish. It combines a striking Morning Frost metallic white exterior paint with a contrasting Spectral Blue interior and Pearl White welting.
For the exterior, the model also received satin finish carbon-fiber features, plus blue-tinted diamond-turned alloy wheels. For the interior the center console is made in blue-tinted glass fiber and numerous "Q" logos are a further reminder that this is indeed a special Vanquish.
If the new "Q by Aston Martin" program impresses you, then you should know it can be further extended to designing your house, your yacht or pretty much anything else you want to personalize.
Next to theAston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake "Jet 2+2" Concept set to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, Bertone has also prepared an updated version of the original Vanquish-based Jet unveiled back in 2004. The new Jet 2 is still based on the previous-generation Vanquish, but its mechanics and design have been updated to fit the all-new Vanquish.
The new Jet 2 features the same shooting brake body style as the Rapide Jet 2+2 and so happens to be the personal car of Lilli Bertone, Bertone’s president.
The new Jet 2 features an updated design, new exterior colors and a more luxurious interior trim. The model also offers increased cabin space and a 2+2 seating configuration, thanks to the added 210 mm (8.26 inches) in length.
Full details on the new Bertone Jet 2 will be unveiled during the concept’s official debut in Geneva.
A few days after posting a teaser about a Geneva-bound model that Bertone was working on, we finally get to see the car beneath the shadows.
Turns out, it’s an Aston Martin. More specifically, an Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake called the Jet 2+2.
The Italian design and coachbuilder is apparently building this one-off concept, showcasing the mighty Aston Martin Rapide and turning it into a shooting brake.
Granted, the Rapide is Aston Martin’s first four-door sedan in their lineup and as such, an expansion to shooting brake territory could’ve been in order down the road.
But seeing as Aston Martin and Bertone have a history of working together in the past, including the creation of the Jet 2 concept back in 2004, it only seemed appropriate that the Italian coachbuilder would be tasked by Aston to create a strict one-off model.
Aston Martin and Bertone have yet to reveal official details surrounding the Rapide Shooting Brake Jet 2+2, but Autocar managed to find out some info about the one-off concept.

Back in 2011, Aston Martin introduced the V12 Zagato Concept to the world, a supercar that was born from the creative minds of Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilder, Zagato. The overwhelming popularity of the concept prompted the folks over at Aston to expedite the release of the production car and lo and behold, the production car was supposed to make an appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
But what we saw at Frankfurt appeared to be the same one we saw at Pebble Beach and Villa d’Este, albeit with a new trunk lid as opposed to the huge spoiler we saw before.
The ’production version’ of the V12 Zagato was one of the highlights of Aston Martin’s booth at Frankfurt, where it was joined by the pair of V12 Zagato race car variants that participated at the 24 Hours of Nurburgring - ’Zig’ and ’Zag’ - as well as the One-77 supercar and the newly released Virage and Vantage S. Now, Aston Martin has finally revealed all the goods for their exquisite super car.
UPDATE 07/23/12: Aston Martin has announced that only 101 units of the V12 Zagato will be produced, making an already exclusive car that much more limited. The number is also 49 less than what the British automaker initially suggested so keep this new update in mind when you’re thinking of making a purchase.
