The Audi S6 started out as a 2.2 Liter turbocharged five cylinder full size sport saloon based on the A6 making 227 HP and 240 lb-ft of torque in 1994. The original car could go from 0 to 60 MPH in 6.1 sec and reach a top speed of 146 MPH before being replaced with a 4.2 Liter V8 that made 286 HP that could hit the 60 MPH marker in only 5.6 sec. The next generation 1999 Audi S6 grew larger and output went up to 335 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque, but went from 0 to 60 MPH in a slower 6.7 sec. The latest iteration of the 2006 Audi S6 is powered by a Lamborghini derived 5.2 Liter all aluminum V10 that cranks out 429 HP and 398 lb-ft of torque accelerates from 0 to 60 MPH in 5.2 sec and runs the quarter mile in only 13.5 sec while electronically limited to 155 MPH.
