ABT is offering two power output packages that add over 100 horses to the stock model’s figures!

LISTEN 03:19

ABT Sportsline is back again, this time giving a twist to Audi’s performance SUV, the RS Q8. The aftermarket company has worked on a lot of Audi models in the past, and this time it is the SUV’s turn. Not too long ago, the company turned the RS4 wagon into a different beast. This time, ABT is offering two different packages, offering a significant increase in the power outputs over the stock numbers. There are a lot more goodies, like new wheels and exhaust system, that feature along with the package.

What Makes The RS Q8 By ABT Special?

On the outside, the SUV has a smart appearance even in the stock form. ABT has added some more elements to further enhance its looks. At the rear, the SUV comes with a carbon fiber spoiler. The fenders receive carbon fiber inserts as well. The biggest addition comes in the form of the h-o-t 23-inch glossy black ABT High-Performance GR wheels with red brake calipers peeping from behind.

ABT has also installed its exhaust system that makes the SUV give out a sweet grunt. There are electrically controlled flaps to create an even better sound experience. The 102 mm quad tips are finished in carbon fiber. If all this is too much carbon for your liking, you can also opt for the polished exhaust housing with the ABT logo embossed on it and glossy black end pipes to complement it. The aftermarket manufacturer is also offering an adjustable air suspension. The travel range for the same, however, isn’t mentioned.

How Powerful Is The ABT Build?

Under the hood, the Audi RS Q8 comes with a 4.0-liter, turbocharged V-8 engine that makes 591 horses and 590 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The SUV takes just around 3.8 seconds to sprint to 62 mph from a standstill.

ABT is offering two levels of power boosts here for the RS Q8. The first package receives a 100 horsepower boost. It makes 691 horses and 649 pound-feet of torque. This helps shave off three-tenths of a second when in the 0-62 mph sprint when compared to the stock model. In the second and the more powerful form, it makes 730 ponies and 679 pound-feet of torque. Here, the RS Q8 takes just 3.4 seconds to 62 mph, making it one-tenth second quicker than the other package and four-tenths of a second quicker than the stock RS Q8.

ABT Sportsline hasn’t announced the pricing for either of the packages, but don’t expect them to be cheap. In the U.S., the 2021 Audi RS Q8 comes with a starting sticker price of $114,500. If you were in the market for an ABT build, would you choose this one over the Audi RS wagon builds? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
