ABT is back with another Audi build, this time for the SQ7. The automaker recently ditched the diesel engine from this vehicle and dropped an even more powerful V-8 gasoline mill under the hood. In the standard form, the SUV comes with 500+ horses, which is already on the higher end. So, ABT decided to give this bit a skip for this build and went ahead with making changes to the interior and the exterior. The aesthetic changes are significant and make the already-hot SQ7 even hotter.

Exterior

The SUV looks sharp and aggressive on the outside in the standard form itself, but ABT has managed to take it up a notch with more swaps and add-ons. The company has offered a wide-body Aero Package that includes:

-* Aggressively-designed front skirt

-* Fender extensions

-* Door strip attachments

-* Rear skirt

-* Tailpipe cover set

If this is a little too much for you, you can opt for the slim-body kit that comes without the fender extensions. Furthermore, the SQ7 can also be had with ABS plastic or carbon fiber elements on the spoiler and in the fender inserts.

Coming to ABT’s hottest selling point, the company has three different wheel designs to choose from. In the stock form, the SQ7 comes with 20-inch wheels. ABT will equip your SQ7 with 22-inch wheels. First up, there’s the diamond-machined Sport GR set which can be had in gloss- or matte black. Then there’s the high-performance HR-F wheels that are offered in dark smoke and glossy black finishes, and finally, you have exclusive HR Aero wheels which are available in a dark smoke finish with matte black aero ring.

Interior

On the inside, the changes can be configured as per your needs, but ABT offers these as standard:

-* Carbon fiber dashboard

-* Carbon fiber seat frame covers

-* ABT start-stop illuminated switch cap

-* ABT entrance lights

Drivetrain

It is mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The SQ7 takes just 4.3 seconds to sprint to 60 mph from a standstill and has an electronically-limited top speed of 130 mph. You can unlock the top speed to 155 mph, too. As mentioned earlier, ABT hasn’t made any changes this time around, but the aftermarket company noted that it is working on an ABT Engine Control unit.
