Announced in 2021, the third generation of the Audi RS 3 Sportback brought considerably improved performance, on both road and track.
But, no matter how many improvements the new RS3 is offering, under the hood, things remained pretty much unchanged: output went from 367 horsepower to 394 horsepower. But, for people that want even more than that, ABT Sportsline has the answer.

What changes are offered under the hood?
The third-generation RS3 is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five engine that delivers a total of 394 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds, while top speed is limited to 155 mph (250 km/h). These numbers are, of course, impressive numbers for a small hatch, but, they can always be improved, right?
ABT updated the five-cylinder engine with its legendary high-tech Engine Control software. It has been "specially adapted to the vehicle" and "tested on the road and on the test bench in countless hours of work."
This software increased the final output to a whopping 460 horsepower!
This is not the only good news. The ABT RS3 now only needs 3.6 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph - down 0.2 seconds. But, the biggest news is that the RS3 can even become a member of the "Club 300." This means, that ABT can remove the speed limiter and allow your RS3 to hit a top speed of 300 km/h (186 mph).
Are there any other changes?
This time ABT focused its work especially on the mechanical section. However, the tuner announced that more aesthetic changes should arrive in the near future, so stay tuned!
