Do you wanna do all that, but your budget has a hard cap at 20 bucks? Well, don’t worry, because Lego has you covered. Say hello to the latest addition to the Speed Champions series – a pair of Audi LMS racers.
If you were unaware, the Speed Champions series is Lego’s take on some of the fastest machinery on the planet, including the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, the Ferrari LaFerrari, the McLaren Mercedes F1 car, the Ford F-150 Raptor, and the Porsche 911.
New to the grid is the Audi R8 LMS Ultra that took top honors at the Nurburgring 24 Hours race in 2014, and the Audi R18 quattro that’s battling it out in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Exclusive to the R8 kit is a winner’s podium and trophy, while the R18 gets a fuel pump.

The holiday season is upon us so its entirely understandable if you’re scrambling to get your Christmas shopping done as soon as possible. You don’t want to be one of those people who receive all these cool gifts and give gift certificates in return, right? These days, it’s perfectly normal to do online shopping. As a matter of fact, it has become a more convenient way to shop for gifts than going to the mall and squeezing yourselves between throngs of people doing the exact same thing. So we’re doing all of you a solid by compiling a list of gift options that you or your gearhead family members may be interested in. But instead of scouring the usual online stores, we’ve taken a slightly different approach and went straight to the online stores of some our favorite automakers.
We scoured for cool items to suggest and found a whole bunch of them. These items range in price from affordable gifts like a computer mouse all the way to a premium smartphone that isn’t even on the market yet. Just remember that these gifts are just suggestions. We know that for Valentine’s Day – yes, guys, today is the big “V-day” – you usually give your loved one candy or flowers, but what if your loved one is a real Audi fanatic? You can easily imagine that for someone like this, candy or flowers won’t do the trick, so, what’s the solution then?
Well, Audi has offered up its own gift for its Valentines and we have to admit, it looks a little bit creepy, but for some people this might be the perfect gift. We are talking about a very cool artwork: the Audi Heart concept. It is the heart of an Audi RS5 that has been reorganized to create ventricles, valves, pumps and an aorta.
In the Audi RS5, the V8 engine develops a total of 450 horsepower and a peak torque of 317 pound-feet. We hope that all of you Audiphiles receive this wonderful Valentine in your Valentine’s Day box today!
A while ago McLaren unveiled the S-Works Venge Bicycle and now Audi of America has joined the ranks of automakers selling bicycles with their new creation, the Audi Duo. Audi, in cooperation with Renovo Hardwood Bicycles has unveiled this exclusive bicycle in three different models: City, Sport, and Road.
The new bicycle features a monocoque frame made of hardwood that provides a smoother ride. This feature will ensure that the new Audi duo bicycle will be recyclable and biodegradable. Audi is the first automaker to recognize the benefits of, and offer a bicycle made from, wood.
The first model - Duo City - is priced at $6,350 and features an upright position for short distances, comfort, and traffic vigilance, wide puncture-resistant 32mm tires, LED lights, fenders, and a rack.
The next one is called the Duo Sport and is a model priced at $7,350 that comes with the Shimano Alfine 11-speed internal gear hub, drop bars for long distances, minimum fenders, medium width, and puncture-resistant 28mm tires for less rolling resistance.
The last model is the the Duo Road and is priced at $7,460. This last option features narrow tires, no fenders, minimal accessories, and an SRAM Red, compact 20-speed gear train.
If you’re a self-respecting man and you haven’t played a second of foosball, then you should be ashamed of yourself. Now, if you do know what the game is, then we have quite a surprise for you.
The boys from Audi have taken a break from designing vehicles to present to us the most awesome foosball table you can possibly ask for. Not only is it made from pretty state-of-the-art materials, like aluminum casing, but the Audi foosball table, at least according to the folks from Ingolstadt, "meets the high standards demanded in professional tournaments."
According to Wolfgang Egger, Head of Audi Group Design,"It’s a attractive task to transfer our cars’ design language to other day-to-day articles, and the results are often surprising! The Audi Design soccer table features large-area, flowing surfaces and sharp, clearly defined lines. The brushed aluminum frame creates an exciting contrast to the white body. Our design team looks forward to displaying one of these tables at our Concept Design studio in Munich."
Each of the 20 special edition foosball tables will be built by Leonhart, a Bavarian company that has produced foosball table games since 1949 and is the benchmark for which all other foosball tables are compared to. Leonhart will be building the tables from the ground up with Audi’s design being used as the platform to which the tables will be made. Deliciously enticing, isn’t it?
But as is the case with something as desirable as this table, the price tag to scoop up one of the 20 tables isn’t for the faint of heart - or money. One table will set you back the equivalent of $16,000, which means that even if you want one, there’s a big chance that your bank account will probably convince you otherwise.
In UK an Audi R8 is priced at £78,195. Not something everyone can afford. This is why Audi decided to become Santa this year and released an extra-cheap special edition R8. It cost only £45. Oh, yes, before you got to excited it’s a 1:18 scale special edition.
An Audi R8 is too expensive for your pocket? No problem, you can make yourself happy for Christmas with a miniature R8. As a temporary solution until you will buy one.
The Audi is offering you is a 1:43 scale R8. You can admire not only the beauty of the car but also it’s 420 hp engine that is shown under the large back window of the model.
And if you are a R10 TDi fun, then Audi has an offer for you too. Also a 1:43 scale available with the red roll hoop bar and the the starting number (...)
