The Audi E-Tron GT Concept’s Appearance in Avengers 4 Signals Audi’s Return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe
We’re two days away from the highly anticipated first trailer for Avengers 4, but an early surprise was revealed at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show: the Audi e-Tron GT Concept will star in the blockbuster movie. Audi’s involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn’t a new plot. But it’s been a while since we last saw a prominent Audi appear in any of the recent MCU films. That’s about to change when the e-Tron GT Concept shows up in what could be the biggest blockbuster of the 2019 movie calendar. If history is any indication, Audi’s future flagship electric sedan will be the ride-of-choice of Tony Stark, a.k.a. Iron Man.
Will Smith Is About to Get Jiggy With Audi’s First Animated Concept, the RSQ e-tron
After the PB18 E-Tron, no one really expected Audi to reveal a new supersport car. Yet, it did - the Audi RSQ e-tron. It’s animated, though. Like, cartoon type of thing “animated.” Designed in conjunction with Fox, the new Audi RSQ e-tron is bound to appear in the next animated movie Spies in Disguise, starring none other than Will Smith. As many of you may recall, this is not the first time for Audi and Will Smith to appear together on the big screen. The actor had that astonishing futuristic autonomous Audi for the movie I, Robot. Obviously, right now, the driving part isn’t really possible.
Several Audi Models Will Be Featured In "Captain America: Civil War"
Audi and Marvel have been collaborating together for a while now, and it looks like to two have continued working together for Marvels next move – Captain America: Civil War. This means that we’ll see a number of Audi vehicles in the film, plus an advertising campaign that should spark interest in the movie and the Audi brand as a whole.
Loren Angelo, Audi’s Director of Marketing in America, said, “Even as the mighty Avengers break into Civil War, their affinity for best-in-class, high performance and state of the art technology in their vehicles ties them together. Audi is excited to be a mainstay for the Marvel franchise and to support their cast of Super Heroes with a fleet of superior Audi vehicles.”
Anthony Russo, a Co-director of the newest Marvel movie, said, “We’re always trying to ride the line in these movies between something that is set in our real, present day world, but at the same time feels special and forward thinking – just a little out of reach. So to be able to work with a company like Audi and have access to their current models and their most advanced designs, it helps us strike that right balance between real world and the future.”
The alliance has already released a digital video teaser known as “The Chase” that previews a pivotal scene from the movie and the all-new Audi SQ7. A 30-second commercial will begin airing globally this month as well. In the movie, we’ll see Agent 13 sport the Audi A4, Zemo drives the A7 Sportback, Captain America drive the Audi SQ7 and Iron Man driving the Audi R8 V10 Plus Coupe. So, not only will we get to enjoy the next installment from Marvel with our favorite superheroes, but we’ll also get to see some of Audi’s best cars in the mix too.

A few months ago, Audi announced the Virtual Vision — a concept car specially designed for the upcoming "The Ender’s Game" movie. Today, Audi unveiled a new video explaining how the concept came to life and its development process.
Of course, there is no chance for the Virtual Vision Concept to have a life off of the silver screen, but it is nice to see it as a design exercise. It was built using Audi’s quattro technology and it will appear in "key scenes that have a lasting impact on the life of the protagonist."
As a reminder, the "Ender’s Game" movie was inspired by the best-selling, award-winning novel written by American author Orson Scott Card. The movie tells the story of Ender Wiggin, a brilliant young mind recruited and trained to lead his fellow soldiers into a battle that will determine the future of Earth. It will arrive on theaters on November 1st, 2013.

The Audi R8 was the star in the recent "Iron Man 3" movie and now the company is preparing a new, futuristic car for the upcoming "Ender’s Game" movie. Called "Virtual Vision" the concept was designed by Audi Design Team in collaboration with with director Gavin Hood and the production team and combines futuristic design with groundbreaking technology - a must for the movie it will be featured in.
Audi will build the Virtual Vision using its quattro technology and it will appear in "key scenes that have a lasting impact on the life of the protagonist." The remainder of the car’s construction is relatively unknown, but we’re pretty sure this model will go no further than its 15 minutes of fame on the silver screen.
The "Ender’s Game" movie was inspired by the best-selling, award-winning novel written by American author Orson Scott Card. The movie will star celebrities like Asa Butterfield, Hailee Steinfeld, Ben Kingsley, Viola Davis, Abigail Breslin and Harrison Ford.

The Audi R8 has found itself in yet another blockbuster movie. At this point, we should just give it an Oscar and call it a day, right?
The R8 has been in so many movies over the past couple of years we’re surprised we couldn’t find an IMDB page for it. But in all seriousness, the German sports car is a real action star and recently, it was revealed that Audi has once again collaborated with Marvel Studios to include a fleet of its cars, including the R8 Spyder, in another superhero movie.
This time, the R8 is trading in Iron Man for Wolverine, a not too surprising turn of events given the car’s proclivity for living life on the fast lane. But the R8 Spyder isn’t the only Audi that made an appearance in The Wolverine. Joining it - and making their respective cinematic debuts - are the Audi A8 L and the Ducati Diavel, which is now owned by Audi, by the way.
As far as the respective scenes where the R8 Spyder is in front of the cameras, well, that’s something that we’ll save for the actual movie. The Wolverine opens in the U.S. later this month on July 26th. Be sure to check it out because you never know, the R8 Spyder just might have its own mutant powers by movie’s end.

The full-court press surrounding the upcoming release of Iron Man 3 has reached a fever pitch, especially for Marvel and German automaker Audi.
A week ago, the two companies decided to give fans of the comic a chance to write their own ending, or more specifically, create the final frame of Iron Man’s comic book showdown against the Blizzard.
This week, Marvel’s "Steer the Story" campaign released a new video, only this time it’s one where Marvel fans will undoubtedly trip over in delight. Or at least those with the artistic chops to do so.
See, Marvel and Audi are giving fans a chance to learn how to do draw a car. But it’s not just any car; it’s a lesson on how to draw the Audi R8 Spyder. The tutorial is a pretty cool exercise, specifically because the instructional video starts with a blank sheet of paper and runs us through the entire process of drawing the R8, beginning with the outline all the way to the shading.

The Le Mans 24 Hours races may not be the pinnacle of the racing world, but they certainly separate the men from the boys and women from the little girls. For the most part, over half of the field ends up retiring before the race ever finishes and the ones that do finish are completely exhausted – both car and drivers – by the time the race ends.
Audi has seemingly always been a part of the Le Mans 24 Hours and has earned tons of success in the race. In the 2011 running, Audi was set up to fail, as two of its three cars were forced to retire early due to freak accidents on the track. Truth in 24 II, narrated by none other than British bad-ass action star Jason Statham, documents the running of the 2011 Le Mans 24 Hours race and how the last remaining Audi managed to overcome all of the competition, including three Peugeot 908s, to take home the overall No. 1 position.
What’s even more awesome is that Audi is providing both Truth in 24 and Truth in 24 II completely free of charge. You can download the debut Truth in 24 here, if you haven’t seen it yet, and then snag up Truth in 24 II here. It’s not too often that an automaker gives you something this cool for free, so take advantage of these free movies while you can. They are simply awesome.
