New York The U.S.-Spec 2019 Audi Q3 Shows Up At the New York Auto Show
Four-door coupes are starting to flood the market, and that’s why Audi came up with the RS5 Sportback, an all-new model in the lineup and the seventh Audi Sport model, sharing a similar design with the RS7 Sportback. It got all of the typical RS cues inside and out but is powered by a 2.9-liter, Biturbo mill that is borrowed from the Porsche Panamera. It can hit 60 mph faster than a BMW 650i or Mercedes CLS500 and does so looking good in the process. Based on the RS 5 Coupe, the Sportback should command somewhere around $80,000 when it goes on sale in the second half of 2018.

Audi RS 5 Sportback: Making Things Look Bleak for the BMW 6 Series and Mercedes CLS
The whole “four-door coupe” trend has really been catching on lately, so it’s no surprise, really, when a new one pops up. Audi has a small lineup of these niche-bred models, and the latest to join the “Sportback” and “Audi Sport” lineup is the RS5 Sportback. As an Audi Sport model, the RS5 Sportback isn’t playing around either – it’s got the look and power of a sports car with the practicality of a sedan with a long, coupe-like roof. It gets a revised suspension, a powerful V-6 engine, and loads of technology. Now, the only thing you have to do is convince the wife that you need an $80,000 rocket-propelled family car.
Audi Claims The New RS5 Can Do 0 to 60 MPH in Four Seconds, But What Can it Do Under "Ideal Conditions?"
Audi has pulled the covers off of the RS5 Sportback at the 2018 New York Auto Show. The RS5 Sportback is the latest version from the RS5 family, following in the footsteps of the RS5 Coupe. As first impressions go, the four-door performance sedan not only looks positively stunning, it also packs a mean punch that allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just under four seconds.
2017 Audi R8 LMS GT4
Audi made a bunch of wise marketing decisions in recent years, one of them being the R8, essentially a Lamborghini with different body work and a more affordable sticker. But, while the road-going R8 is somewhat successful, its race-spec counterpart has already achieved iconic status with several wins in just about every racing series out there. The R8 LMS has been incredibly popular among private teams in recent years and it’s not surprising that Audi is looking to expand the lineup as much as possible. The latest version to join the family is the LMS GT4 and made its debut at the 2017 New York Motor Show.
As the name suggests, the LMS GT4 was developed for production-based racing and derived from the road-legal R8 V10. It’s more affordable than the world-beating GT3 and it’s eligible for every racing category under GT4 regulations. The GT4 European Series is arguably the most important competition under these regulations and brings together a massive number of cars. Vehicles that the R8 will compete against include GT4-spec versions of the Chevrolet Camaro, Aston Martin Vantage, BMW M4, KTM X-Bow, and Porsche Cayman, just to name a few.
The new race car will make its on-track debut at the Nurburgring 24 Hours on May 25. The R8 LMS GT4 will also compete in North America, Asia, and Australia throughout 2017. Production will begin in the second half of the year with first deliveries to be made by the end of 2017.

2018 Audi R8 Coupe Audi Sport Edition
Introduced for the 2017 model year, the second-generation R8 has been in dealerships for almost a year now, while race-spec LMS version is already tackling its second motorsport season as of 2017. And, while the road car is struggling to fit in a tough niche, the race car had its most successful season in 2016, when it scored 24 titles and 85 wins. Audi is celebrating the success of Audi Sport division with a special-edition R8 that pays tribute to the track-only LMS. It’s called the R8 Coupe Audi Sport Edition and made its public debut at the 2017 New York Auto Show.
Designed as a tribute for the highly successful R8 LMS, the Audi Sport Edition comes wrapped in the traditional colors of the company’s racing division: silver, red, and black. On top of the special livery and the custom wheels, the limited-edition supercar also sports a bespoke interior. What’s more, it’s limited to just 200 units globally, which makes it the most exclusive second-generation R8 to date.
Unfortunately, there are no drivetrain upgrades to talk about, but with the R8 still fresh, it’s not like the German supecar is in need of more oomph for public road use. For now, an exclusive livery and a custom interior seem to be enough to satisfy custom demand.

Are You Ready? Audi Sport Promises Eight New U.S. Models By 2020
The basis for Audi Sport has been around since 1983 but operated under the name Quattro GmbH, a name that paid tribute to the original Audi Quattro – a rally-inspired road car that changed the Audi changed the Audi brand forever. Well, Audi had to keep up with the times and spruce things up a bit, so in 2016, the Quattro brand was renamed to Audi Sport. Now, in 2017, The Audi Sport name has been established here in the U.S., and it all happened at the New York Auto Show. What’s really important, however, isn’t the introduction of Audi Sport here in the U.S. but what it means for those of us with an RS itch that just can’t be scratched.
Up until now, the only Audi Sport or RS models you could get in the states have been limited to the R8, R8 Spyder, and the RS7. We’ve had to sit and watch in agonizing pain as other markets, like Germany, get a much wider lineup that includes the RS 3 Sportback, RS3 Limo, RS 5 Coupe, RS 6 Avant, RS7 Sportback, TT RS Coupe, and the TT RS Roadster. That’s a whole lineup of sexy, race-tuned performance for the taking, but as I said, we haven’t had the luxury. All that is about to change though, thanks to the introduction of Audi Sport here in the U.S. To kick things off in the U.S., we’re going to get the 2017 R8 V10 Spyder, and for the first time ever, we’re going to get the RS 3. Later on, we’ll be getting the RS 5 Coupe – a model that’s powered by a brand-new 2.9-liter V-6 with 450 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. Audi promises that it’ll be able to get you to 62 mph in all of 3.9 seconds.
But, that’s not all we’re getting. According to Audi, we’ll see a total of eight new Audi Sport models unleashed on the U.S. market over the next 24 months. There’s no word as to what models these will be outside of what we’ve already discussed, but it sure will be nice to have an RS option that doesn’t set you back six figures, don’t you think?

2017 - 2018 Audi R8 Spyder
Launched in 2007, the first-generation Audi R8 was so successful that the German brand decided to keep it around for no fewer than eight model years. The Spyder, on the other hand, is a bit younger than that, having been unveiled at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for the 2010 model year.
At first only available with the 5.2-liter V-10, the convertible also received the 4.2-liter V-8 for 2011, and a limited-edition GT model for 2012. With the second-generation R8 already in dealerships, Audi introduced the redesigned Spyder version at the 2016 New York Auto Show.
Much like its predecessor, the second-generation R8 Spyder is essentially a topless version of the R8 Coupe,using a soft-top instead of metal roof. Specs are obviously identical, meaning there’s no longer a V-8 engine and a manual transmission. Audi has yet to confirm whether the R8 Spyder will also get an e-tron version, but an all-electric drop-top is very likely to arrive by the end of 2016.
Audi’s new angular design works well with the R8 Spyder’s convertible layout and the performance is definitely strong, but does it have what it takes to compete against the bonkers Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet and McLaren’s upcoming 570S Spider? Keep reading to find out.

Audi has finally pulled the covers off of the new Audi A3 Sedan and with it, the German automaker also introduced its S-variant, the equally new S3 Sedan. Oh joy.
Scheduled to meet the world at the New York Auto Show, the new S3 is already getting quite the attention from a lot of people in large part because Audi hasn’t had a small sports sedan in its line-up in a long time.
So you can say that the new S3 has a lot of expectations attached to it, in large part because you can never have enough people clamoring for a German sports sedan that they can actually afford.
Mercedes went ahead and revealed the CLA-Class earlier this year, so it was only the right time for Audi to join the German sports sedan party in America. There’s a sentence we never thought we’d write.

Updated 06/19/2014: Audi announced today prices for the 2015 S3 sedan set to go on sale late summer of this year. Prices will start from $41,100.
As a luxury manufacturer, having an exclusive personalization program is mandatory these days. BMW has the Individual program, Porsche offers new, bold designs via Porsche Exclusive, while Mercedes-Benz will be happy to take your hard-earned to offer you some of its Designo exterior paints and interior leather and trims.
As expected, Audi doesn’t want to fall behind on this front so it stormed the New York Auto Show with a more exclusive take on the 2014 RS7 four-door coupe. Already an aggressive-looking and luxurious vehicle, the said model got a few bells and whistles inside and out and a new name.
Dubbed Dynamic Edition, the fanciest member of the RS7 lineup isn’t just a unique showroom model built to exemplify "some of the personalization options that are possible through Audi’s exclusive program." It will go into production and will hit dealerships this summer, but its price tag might be a turn off for U.S. customers.

At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, Audi unveiled the A3 Concept sedan, but the unveiling of the production version took longer than we expected. After we brought you a series of spy shots of the A3 prototypes, today the new A3 sedan made its world debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
The new A3 sedan retains much of the design elements we have seen in the concept version and adds numerous innovative features on the A-segment: signature Singleframe grille and available full-LED headlights.
The new Audi A3 sedan will go on sale on the U.S. market showrooms in the first quarter of 2014. European customers will be able to enjoy it starting this summer. In there the new A3 sedan will start at €25,000 - about $32,000 at the current exchange rates.

The New York Auto Show may not carry the weight of Detroit or L.A. to all of the auto industry, though the fact that this show takes place in the heart of one of the Audi brand’s top markets hasn’t gone unnoticed by schedule makers in Ingolstadt.
