This Audi Christmas Ad Is The Best Thing You’ll Watch This Holiday Season

Let’s watch this ad while getting an egg-nog moustache!

Christmas is almost here, and automakers are rolling out holiday-themed commercials for the public. Although the main motive is to market the brand and the cars (obviously!), there are a few commercials which we remember for much longer. One such commercial, which is one of my all-time favorites, is this one by Audi for Christmas 2017 that features the RS3 and the RS7.

2019 Audi S6

2019 Audi S6

Will the new V-6 model be powerful enough for the BMW M550i?

The Audi A6 was redesigned in 2018 after six years on the market and now its time for other versions of the sedan to get their official launch. First on the list is the S6, which we began seeing on public roads as a camouflaged prototype in 2017. Come 2018 and the four-door moving closer to an official launch, and we already know a lot of details about it.

The sedan is still hidden under wraps, but as before, the S6 will sport the same styling cues as the A6, but it will feature a slightly more aggressive exterior and a more potent drivetrain. The upcoming S6 is more important than ever to Audi, as both BMW and Mercedes-Benz have solid offerings in this niche in the M550i xDrive and the AMG E53 Sedan, respectively. Will the new S6 have what it takes to give its competitors a run for its money? Let’s find out in the review below.

Updated 12/03/2018: Our spy photographers caught the upcoming Audi S6 out for the a new testing session, and unlike the previous times, the new prototype dropped some of its camouflage.

Florida-Based Tuner Crashes Man’s Audi S4, Refuses to Pay for Repairs

To not go through a legal maze, always read before signing a contract

All day every day we have to agree with forms online that are too long to be worth reading. Much in the same way, we often fail to read contracts in real life, but this could have costly consequences. Take a man who brought his Audi S4 to a body shop for repairs only for an employee to wreck it and then refuse to pay for the damages.

Apparently, the client had signed a contract that exempted the shop from having to pay for any damages that occurred while the car was in their care. However, the owner has since sought legal help as he aims to somehow get the body shop to pay for the gross negligence.

2019 Audi R8

The ultimate road-going R8?

Introduced in 2015, the second-generation Audi R8 was facelifted for the 2019 model year. The mid-cycle upgrade arrived rather soon, suggesting that the supercar might be redesigned in three years or so. The facelift brought a sportier exterior, a mildly altered interior, and important changes under the hood. Likewise, the R8 V10 Plus model was renamed the V10 Performance.

Sharing 50 percent of components with the R8 LMS GT3 race car shown at the 2018 Paris Motor Show, the revised R8 looks more aggressive than ever. It’s also significantly more powerful than before, with up to 30 horsepower added to the 5.2-liter V-10 engine. It’s also the first R8 to surpass 200 mph in every trim, including Spyder models. Although it was originally believed that Audi might add a new GT model to the lineup, the sportier car spotted testing in Europe turned out to be just the regular facelift. Let’s find out more about all of that in the review below.

An Audi R8 Was Literally Ripped in Half After Colliding with a Volkswagen Van

Audis aren’t supposed to break in half like this

In what can be considered as one of the most unnerving car crashes we’ve seen in recent history, an Audi R8 was violently cut in half after a massive crash with a Volkswagen van in northern Italy near the Austrian border over the weekend. It’s unclear as to how the crash came about, but photos from the scene of the crash show a wet road, suggesting that the driver of the R8 may have lost control of the supercar before colliding with the Volkswagen van. Fortunately, both the driver of the R8 and the driver of the VW van escaped the ordeal without any major injuries.

Watch an Old-School Audi S4 with Bugatti-Like Power Make the 1/2-Mile Scream for Mercy

An Old Audi S4 B5 With 1,400+ Horsepower

The Audi S4 B5 is old, but gold. Not only does it cost a small fortune if it’s in good condition, but some owners do tend to tune it to insanity regardless of its status.

How insane is this one here?

Bugatti Chiron-rivaling insane. I’m not freaking joking as just the other day an old Audi S4 B5 was filmed in Germany rushing to hit the half-mile mark. Clawing its way with all four tires that barely keep it on the ground and the straight line, this particular Audi S4 B5 has a masterfully tuned engine that delivers an insane 1,442 horsepower. Or apparently, 1,442 horsepower, because my reason does not allow me to believe everything I hear on the Internet.

Nevertheless, the half-mile run during which this wagon achieved 190 mph suggests that 1,442 horsepower may just be right.

Audi Teases the Facelifted R8 - Will it Be More of the Same?

Audi’s New Facelifted R8 Is Coming And It May Bring A Lot Of Novelties

Audi just teased the new facelifted 2020 R8 on social media. The photograph Audi Sport revealed does show a few subtle tweaks to the front of the car, but thanks to numerous spy photographs caught earlier we can infer a lot about the facelifted Audi R8. While we are waiting for Audi to introduce the real deal sometime later this year or in early 2019, it is obvious that the new car will receive an even wider front grille, slightly tweaked front lights that cast a clear link to the lights on the latest Audi cars, and far wider front air intakes.

Is Audi Bringing a Race-Spec Version of The R8 To Paris?

Mysterious model is scheduled to debut at the City of Lights this week

Audi Sport has released a mysterious teaser of a car that looks like the R8 supercar. 2020 Audi E-Tron GT

2020 Audi E-Tron GT

A beautiful all-electric four-door coupé that’ll take Audi one step above

Announced at Audi’s Annual Press Conference in Ingolstadt earlier this year, the Audi E-Tron GT is a new all-electric four-door coupé destined to hit the market in 2020. Offered as part of the Audi electric onslaught in which the Ingolstadt-based company will reveal 20 new electric models by 2025, the Audi E-Tron GT will sit at the top of the Audi Sport division, and will be responsible for constructing an all-new character trait for Audi’s line of Sport vehicles. With models such as the Audi A5 Sportback and Audi A7, the company obviously has some proper knowledge of the four-door coupé design. The E-Tron GT will act as a flagship for this intriguing car segment.

Given the E-Tron GT will take technology, design features, cabin specs, and possibly drivetrain hardware from other E-Tron vehicles, we already know a thing or two about the new car. Marketed to fight against the likes of the Tesla Model S and similar entries from other manufacturers, the Audi E-Tron GT could be even more impressive than the recently introduced E-Tron Quattro SUV.

Mercedes-AMG A35 vs Audi S3

Mercedes-AMG A35 vs Audi S3

Battle of the (mild) hot hatchbacks

When Mercedes-Benz unveiled the fourth-generation A-Class in 2018, it basically dropped a giant anvil on the hatchback market. Fitted with never-before-seen technology and infused with design cues from the bigger sedans inside and out, the new A-Class trumps the BMW 1 Series and the Audi A3 in just about every department. With a handful of models already available, Mercedes-Benz just unveiled the AMG A35. Offered for the first time, it slots above the A250 and below the upcoming AMG A45.

The A35 is Mercedes’ answer to the long-standing Audi S3 and BMW M135i and arrives just when these two hatchbacks are getting a bit long in the tooth. But while the 1 Series is almost out of the market, to be replaced by a front-wheel-drive model, the S3 was facelifted recently and will be around for a few more years. That’s why we decided to throw the S3 into the lion’s den and find out how it compares to the new Mercedes-AMG A35.
