A Chinese car brand is presented at the Geneva International Motor Show for the first time !

HSO, the general importer of the Chinese brand « Brilliance » has chosen the 77th Geneva International Motor Show as the European launch platform.

Brilliance JinBei Automobile, based in Shenyang, is the first Chinese car manufacturer to have signed an import agreement for Europe. The German motor trading company, HSO Motors Europe, will be responsible for setting up a distribution network and will have central control of the European market launch.

The Chinese brand will be officially introduced to the European public at the 77th Geneva International Motor Show next spring (8 to 18 March 2007).

According to Prof. Hans-Ulrich Sachs, Chairman and Managing Director of HSO Motors Europe: "The Geneva Motor Show traditionally offers an unparalleled communications platform for launching premières. The exclusive ambience of this top salon forms a tremendous springboard for launching our top of the range model, the BS 6, and for the introduction of the Brilliance brand to the European market".

This first Chinese appearance is also further reinforcement of the status of the Geneva Motor Show as a genuine representative showcase of global production.
