Bentley Orlando created a very unique Bentayga Speed for one of its customers. Called "Bentayga Space Edition," the car was designed in cooperation with Mulliner and features an impressive number of bespoke elements. This is a one-off car, so even if we don't know how much it will cost, it really doesn't matter as only one customer will enjoy it!

What makes the 2022 Bentley Bentayga Space Edition special?

For the exterior, Mulliner opted for a very familiar finish - Cypress - which was first used back in 2003 when the first generation Continental GT was launched. All the bright elements of the Bentayga Speed were replaced with a gloss black version, offering a dark, stone-like sensation. To create a very cool contrast, the designers opted for Orange Flame accents that take inspiration from comet dust trails racing across the night sky.

The cabin is trimmed in a very cool combination of Beluga and Porpoise, combined with satin black speaker grilles, and, of course, the same orange shades of the exterior. Each seat gets a cool, bright orange Bentley logo, with the same orange color being used for the micro piping trails on the seat edges and the floor mats. The same treatment is given to the center spoke of the steering wheel, the gear lever, and also the bezels surrounding the dashboard and the door waist rails.

And, since we are looking at a Bentayga Space Edition, it was to be expected to feature something space-related. You will notice it as soon as you will open the doors. There are illuminated treadplates depicting planets orbiting a solar system.

The special edition is based on the 2022 Bentayga Speed, so it will be offered with a twin-turbo, 6.0-liter W-12 that delivers 626 horsepower and 664 pound-feet of torque. it goes from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds, and up to a top speed of 190 mph (306 km/h).
