2021 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner
The 2021 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner is a special-edition version of the Continental GT. As the name suggests, the coupe has been customized by Mulliner, the company’s bespoke division. Although it doesn’t look very different compared to the standard model, the Mulliner model stands out through numerous exclusive features inside and out. Designed for customers who want an even greater focus on customization, the 2021 Continental GT Mulliner is basically the range-topping version of the current luxury coupe. Engine choices are similar to the regular model, so you get to choose between the gasoline V-8 and W-12 mills. Let’s find out more about it in the review below.

Bentley is adding a new member to its growing lineup of exclusive bespoke creations. The newest addition is called the Continental GTC Equestrian Edition. Limited to just a single unit — yes, there’s only one in the world — the Continental GTC Equestrian Edition makes for a suitable follow-up to the outlandish Bacalar roadster that the boys from Crewe, England unveiled earlier this month. Though not as over-the-top as the Bacalar, the Continental GTC Equestrian Edition is a sultry one-off that draws inspiration from the popular hobby among the rich and famous. It features extraordinary and exclusive details that no other Continental GTC carries, justifying its billing as a true one-of-one creation. The Bentley Continental GTC Equestrian Edition is already spoken for, and, as you might expect, the one-off model was specially commissioned by a client who’s fond of thoroughbreds.
2020 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible
The 2020 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Convertible is a special-edition version of the Continental GTC. As the name suggests, the drop-top has been customized by Mulliner, Bentley’s bespoke division, so it basically takes over as the range-topping model of the Continental GTC.
Although it doesn’t look very different compared to the standard model and it’s available with the same engines, the Mulliner stands out thanks to a handful of exclusive features. This model is basically dedicated to customers who want an even greater focus on customization and a car that stands out from the pack. Let’s find out what makes it special in the review below.
2020 Bentley Mulsanne 6.75 Edition
Bentley is bidding adieu to the Mulsanne luxury sedan in the most fitting way possible. The British automaker is launching a special edition Mulsanne called the 6.75 Edition. Only 30 units of the Mulsanne 6.75 Edition and, in keeping with Bentley’s tradition of dressing up its special edition models to the nines, the limited-run Mulsanne comes with enough exclusive touches in the exterior and interior to justify its special edition billing.
Bentley hasn’t announced a release timetable for the Mulsanne 6.75, but with the Mulsanne’s production run ending this year, expect the 6.75 Edition to arrive within the year.
2020 Bentley Flying Spur First Edition
The arrival of the 2020 Bentley Flying Spur is going to make a lot of bank accounts bleed, but just before the luxury sedan hits the market in full swing, Bentley’s rolling out the Flying Spur First Edition, a special edition model based on, well, the 2020 Flying Spur. The first example of the Flying Spur First Edition will not go on sale. Instead, it will be auctioned off at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s inaugural ball, called the “Midsummer Party,” on July 24 at Jean Pogizzi’s Villa Dorane in Cap d’Antibes, a resort town between Cannes and Nice on the French Riviera. All proceeds from the auction will go to the EJAF. As for the rest of the Flying Spur First Editions, Bentley will only sell it in the first-year production of the Flying Spur. Best be quick if you want to get your hands on one.
2019 Bentley Continental GT Convertible Number 1 Edition
It’s been around eight months since the all-new Bentley Continental GT Convertible made its long-awaited debut. Enough time has passed for all of us to absorb what Bentley’s 626-horsepower, roofless, sporty grand tourer is all about. Enough time has also passed for Bentley to drop the first special edition model for the new Continental GT Convertible. And wouldn’t you know it, this special edition Continental GT Convertible is called…the Number 1 Edition. Lack of naming creativity notwithstanding, there is a reason why this special edition Continental GT Convertible is called the Number 1 Edition. As I mentioned, it’s the first SE variant of the all-new Continental GT Convertible. More than that, it pays tribute to a particular old-school Bentley race car: the legendary 1929 Bentley Number 1 Blower. Forget what I said, then, about this special edition’s nomenclature. Clearly, it means a lot more to Bentley than just a random number.
2019 Bentley Bentayga V8 Design Series
The Bentley Bentayga V8 Design Series is a special-edition version of the luxury SUV. As an appearance package, Design Series combined new features designed by the Mulliner division with a range of existing options. Bentley says it’s "a contemporary styled and visually dynamic version of the world’s most luxurious SUV," although the Design Series isn’t a major departure from the standard Bentayga.
Although the British SUV is available with two gasoline engine, a diesel, and a hybrid, the Design Series is restricted to just one drivetrain. As the name suggests, it only comes with the 4.0-liter V-8, which is the entry-level model in terms of pricing. There’s no word as to how many will be built, but it probably won’t be around for too long.
2019 Bentley Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner
Bentley is celebrating its 100th anniversary at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, and it’s doing it in style with a special edition model called the Continental GT Number 9 Edition by Mulliner. Limited to just 100 units — one for each year of Bentley’s existence — the Continental GT Number 9 Edition is a fitting ode to the automaker’s centenary. More than that, the special edition Continental GT also pays tribute to arguably one of the most famous race cars in history, the legendary — and supercharged — Bentley Blower that Sir Henry Ralph Stanley “Tim” Birkin drove at the 1930 Le Mans 24 Hours. No timetable has been set on when the special edition Continental GT Number 9 Edition goes on sale. Rest assured, though, all 100 units should fly off the shelves faster than it takes the Continental to go from 0 to 60 mph.
2018 Bentley Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner
Bentley is turning 100 years old in 2019, and a year ahead of its centenary, the British automaker is getting the party started with the release of a new special edition Mulsanne that pays tribute to its founder, W.O. Bentley. Limited to just 100 units, the Mulsanne W.O. Edition gets plenty of exclusive features, all of which have been added by Bentley’s resident personalization savant, Mulliner.
2018 Bentley Continental GT First Edition
In keeping with its new tradition of rolling out First Edition models — the Bentayga SUV and the Mulsanne each got one — Bentley is rolling out the red carpet for the Continental GT First Edition. Described as the “ultimate expression of the legendary grand tourer,” the Continental GT First Edition gets plenty of exclusive appointments that help earn its status as a true first-off-the-line model.
Since this is Bentley we’re talking about, the phrase “exclusive appointments” take on a far more exclusive and opulent meaning. The features included in the Continental GT First Edition include fancy rotating displays, veneer options, and model-specific cosmetic identifiers that firmly establishes its special edition status. Basically, the Continental GT First Edition is a more exclusive version of an already exclusive luxury coupe.
Bentley didn’t say how many Continental GT First Edition units it plans to roll out, but given its status as a First Edition model, don’t expect it to be available in large quantities. The Bentayga First Edition, for example, was limited to just 608 examples, while the Mulsanne First Edition was even rarer with only 50 units made across its entire three-model range. My best guess is that the Continental GT First Edition will have a volume of around 100 units with each unit priced at around $300,000.

2018 Bentley Mulsanne Design Series by Mulliner
At this point, it’s reasonable to expect that whenever Mulliner and Bentley get together, something special is usually in the works. We’ve seen it time and time again, and now we can look forward to seeing two more Bentleys getting the full-scale Mulliner treatment. One of these models is the Bentley Mulsanne, and it’s headed to the Frankfurt Motor Show as the Mulsanne Design Series by Mulliner.
I know what some of you are thinking; another Mulsanne project by Mulliner? Does this ever end? Well, it’s unlikely that it will, but there’s no reason why it should end given the string of incredible projects undertaken by Bentley’s own personalization division. The Frankfurt-bound Mulsanne Design Series by Mulliner follows on the same path with its own set of upgrades and individualized design touches, though it is worth pointing out that as far as this particular example is concerned, there is something that’s, well, lacking. Maybe it’s the fact that we’ve all gotten used to Mulliner’s penchant for stringing along one exceptional program after another, but at some point, there will be a bump in the road, or to be more specific, something that doesn’t quite measure up to the obscenely high standards that Mulliner has created for itself. This is, in a lot of ways, one of the problems with Mulliner. Expectations always call for something exceptional, and yet, what happens when a program falls a tad short of that? Well, see for yourselves.

Bentley Wants More One-Off Models In The Future
Just when it started to feel like we’d never run out of limited edition and one-off Bentley models, no less than the company’s own design chief Stefan Sielaff has come out saying that we should prepare ourselves for such a future. Apparently, “exploring more one-off, bespoke vehicles” is one of Sielaff’s primary goals now that he’s been named the man in charge of Bentley’s Mulliner division. In his own words, Sielaff said that he wants to “explore” more of these models, where the “only limitation is the imagination of the customer.”
Those who love them some limited-edition and one-off Bentleys should be thrilled about this declaration, in part because of how Mulliner has legitimately positioned itself as one of the best personalization divisions of any automaker in the business today. Recent releases like its collaboration with Bamford show what Mulliner is capable of, even though it has rarely ventured into the world of complete stand-alone one-off models the way brands like Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, and most notably, Lamborghini have in the past. But there’s still time to change that narrative and it appears that time has come for Bentley. We’ve seen what Mulliner can do by stamping its identity on existing Bentley models. Now we’re about to see what it’s made of when it’s given a blank slate and the opportunity to create something entirely unique from it.
