Black Friday might be the day synonymous with risking death to get a great deal on a year-old TV, but it’s also the perfect time to get a good deal on a new car. Black Friday can net you some pretty sweet new car deals that include 0% financing, “employee pricing,” no payments for 90 days, and even a decent chunk of cashback. The trick is to know where to look, so we’ve put together a list of the best new car Black Friday deals that we can find.

What You Need to Know About Holiday Car Deals

You Might Not Get That Advertised 0% Financing Deal

Great holiday deals on new cars don’t come without exception, and that means there are few things that you need to know. First off, that 0% APR financing that you see advertised like crazy is generally only available to people with downright amazing credit. So, if you’re not rocking a 700+ credit score, you might not get the same deal. That’s not to say they won’t give you an otherwise great deal, but that 0% rate might not be available to you.

The Models With the Best Discounts and Deals Are Often Old Stock

Another big thing to consider is that a lot of deals offered on Black Friday are for 2019 models, i.e. the models that went on sale in early-to-mid 2018. The whole point is to help dealers push older inventory to make way for new models coming to showrooms in early-to-mid next year. That means they aren’t the newest model you can get and, if the model you’re considering was updated for the 2020 model year, you won’t get the newest look or technology either.

Read the Fine Print to Avoid Surprise Limitations

Before you sign on the line for any deal, make sure that you read the fine print. Lease deals, for example, may appear to include super-low payments, but you could get sidelined by a large down payment or even a balloon payment. Sometimes, there are strict limitations to lease and even purchase deals that you need to be aware of. So, read that fine print, and don’t be afraid to ask question.

Not All Dealers Offer the Same Deals, So Shop Around

Not all dealers will offer the same deals, so check with your local dealer to see if they are actually offering the manufacturer-advertised Black Friday deals. On the other hand, your local dealer may be offering their own deal that’s even better than what we’ve mentioned here, so, again, it never hurts to check or ask.

Black Friday 2019 Car Deals

Acura

If you fancy an Acura, there are two leasing deals available, and they aren’t half bad if you have upward of $3,000 to put down at signing. If you’re looking to buy, Acura is offering APRs from 0.9-1.9-percent if you have great credit and finance through Acura Financial Services. On that note, the only model from Acura really worth buying right now is the Acura RDX, as it entered a new generation in 2019 and features all the latest technology. Every other model is expected to see a major overhaul in the next 2-3 years.

Acura ILX

2}

The Acura ILX was updated for 2019, and it actually looks comparable to models like the Mercedes CLA and BMW 2 Series. It’s considered a mid-luxury model, and the 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine delivers a respectable 201 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. It has a sporty look and sport feel, and for Black Friday 2019, Acura will lease you one at $219 per month for 36 months with $2,799 due at signing.

Acura MDX

2}

If you really want an Acura MDX, now might be the time to strike that deal. But, keep in mind that the current model has been on the market since 2014 and was updated in 2017, so a new-gen model should be released in the next year or two. This is where Acura’s lease deal for Black Friday 2019 might actually make sense. Part with $2,999 at the time of signing, and you’ll get a 36-month lease at $409 per month. Despite its age, it’s still fairly luxurious and decent looking, but I wouldn’t suggest buying one until the next-gen model is actually released.

BMW

BMW doesn’t have a whole lot going on for Black Friday 2019, but it is offering $4,500 credit on certain vehicles. The vehicles available with the credit vary depending on location, so you need to check with your local dealer to find out exactly what models you can get with that discount. BMW is looking to move the remaining i3s on its lots to make way for the all-new i4 EV, so there is a special deal going on for that.

BMW i3

2}

With good credit, you can get a 2019 BMW i3 with 0% financing for up to 60 months. There’s no specific word on down payment, so you’ll need to speak with your local dealer to iron out the details. As an electric model, the i3 well net you 153 miles of range in standard guise or up to 200 miles with the range extender (REX) model. The downside is that the BMW i3 is 7 years old as of 2020, is about to be taken off the market, and with a price starting out around $44,000 you might find better options looking elsewhere, even with 0% financing.

General Motors

Buick

GM is really trying to push all of its brands for Black Friday 2019 and, it could be a good time to step into a new Buick. 2019 models of the LaCrosse, Regal Sportback, Regal TourX, Enclave, Envision, and Encore are all offered with some type of discount with some models being reduced by as much as 22-percent of MSRP while others can be had with 0% financing for 72 months if you sign a deal with GM Financial. The big caveat here is that you must take delivery by December 2, 2019.

Chevrolet

Like Buick, Chevy has some intriguing deals for Black Friday 2019 too. 2018 and 2019 models can be had with a 0% APR or no monthly payments for 90 days when you finance through GM Financial. Up to 20-percent off MSRP is available on the 2019 Chevy Camaro, Chevy Bolt, Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Colorado, and Chevy Suburban. A total of 14 Chevy vehicles are being offered at a discount, but as is the case with Buick, you must take delivery by December 2, 2019.

GMC

2019 models from GMC are being offered at as much as 18-percent below MSRP, and this includes heavy-duty trucks, vans, and some SUVs. The 2019 Sierra 1500 Double Cab, for example, is offered at 18-percent of MSRP while the 2019 GMC Canyon can be had at 14-percent off MSRP. The Acadia, Terrain, Yukon, and Yukon XL can be had at up to 16-percent off MSRP if you meet the right conditions – just make sure you can take delivery by December 2, 2019.

Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram

Chrysler Fiat needs some love and is hoping to move some cars on Black Friday 2019. That’s why all of these brands are offering “Employee Pricing Plus,” which could mean taking up to $10,000 off some models. Basically, you’re able to combine employee pricing along with other rebates, lease deals, and financing offers. Sadly, these deals aren’t available for the Jeep Gladiator, Jeep Wrangler, or Dodge Challenger. They will hook you up with a good deal on the Dodge Durango, Chrysler Pacifica, Jeep Renegade, Compass, Grand Cherokee or Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500. If you really want a new Challenger or Charger, Dodge is still running its $10 per horsepower deal, so you can still get a decent discount on one of them if that’s your thing.

Ford

Ford isn’t as interested in pushing too many of its models for Black Friday 2019, but you can get up to 20-percent off various trims of the 2019 Ford F-150 and 2019 Ford EcoSport. Ford hasn’t released specific details about these deals, however, so you’ll need to stop by the dealership to see what kind of deal that can hook you up with.

Honda

Honda has a run of deals that are a little different from what we’ve mentioned so far. For Black Friday 2019, Honda can give you a 1.99-percent APR on certified used cars for 36 months. You can also opt for the Conquest deal of up to $1,000 on the 2019 Honda Passport and Honda CR-V. On the leasing front, the 2019 Honda Civic and Accord come into the limelight, and most leases don’t require a capital cost reduction or down payment. These deals are only available in 28 states, though, so you need to check with your dealer to find out if you’re in the right place at the right time. These lease deals, should they be available in your area, are offered for 36 months while monthly payments will vary depending on trim level, equipment, and lease rates.

Hyundai

The 2019 Hyundai Sonata is on sale for Black Friday 2019, but what you should really be interested in is the 0% percent financing for up to 72 months on 2020 models or savings of anywhere between $1,500 and $4,000 on models like the 2020 Hyundai Elantra, Santa Fe, Palisade, Kona, and Tucson.

Infiniti

The 2019 Infiniti QX80, Q50, Q60, and QX50 are all being offered with up to $4,000 cashback and 0% financing. We’ve heard that Infiniti is offering discounts on the 2020 QX60, which include – according to the automaker’s website – $2,500 winter bonus and a 1.9-percent APR for 60 months if you have good credit. Depending on the Q60 model you want, you can also get a monthly lease that ranges between $379 and $569, all of which require at least $4,599 down at the time of signing.

Jaguar

Jaguar Black Friday 2019 SUV Deals

Between now and January 2, 2020, you can step into a 2019 Jaguar E-Pace or I-Pace with 0-percent financing. The 2020 Jaguar F-Pace can be had with a 1.9-percent APR. There’s no special cashback or anything of that sort associated with this deal, but Jaguar is offering up to $1,500 customer credit, and you may be eligible for that as well.

Jaguar Black Friday 2019 Car Deals

If you fancy a Jaguar F-Type, then you might be in luck as well, as Jaguar is offering 1.9-percent financing on all trim levels of it, or you could opt for the 2020 Jaguar XJ R-Sport for the same rate. To the best of our knowledge, Jaguar’s $1,500 in customer credit can also be had when purchasing the F-Type or XJ as well.

Kia

Kia is offering decent discounts on the 2020 Kia Sportage, but what you should really be interested in is the 2019 Optima, Sorrento, Stinger, or Forte. All four of these models can be had with a 0% APR for up to 66 months, and you’ll get up to $2,500 bonus cash.

Land Rover and Range Rover

Land Rover and Range Rover, sister companies to Jaguar, are offering similar deals. You can get 1.9-percent APR on the 2020 Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, or the 2019 Range Rover Velar, Discovery, or Discovery Sport. Along with the low-interest financing, you can get up to $1,000 in customer credit.

Lexus

Lexus is running its usual “December to Remember” holiday promotion, but we’re told you can get the same deals for Black Friday 2019 as well. This year, you can get various leasing deals on the 2019 ES 350, 2020 NX 300, and 2020 RX 350. Along with the leasing deals, you’ll get $4,000 in lease cash incentive on a 36-month lease.

Mazda

2018 Mazda6
Mazda

Mazda’s Black Friday 2019 deals run through December 2nd, so you have a little bit of time to make up your mind. If you shop Mazda for Black Friday, you can get up to 90 days of payment deferment (three months without making a payment) if you finance a 2019 or 2020 Mazda. And, if you happen to own a Mazda3, the company will give you a $500 loyalty reward if you’re willing to upgrade to a 2020 Mazda6. That’s not a bad deal if you were thinking of upgrading anyway, right?

Maserati

If you’re really itching to buy a Maserati Ghibli or Levante, then now is your chance to get 0-percent for 72 months on 2019 models. There is a caveat to Maserati’s 2019 Black Friday deal, and that is you need to drop nearly $6,000 on the day you sign the paperwork, and there are some restrictions too. If you really want one, though, now is the time to do it, as the 0-percent financing can make a huge difference in end cost on a luxury car like the Ghibli or Levante.

Mercedes-Benz

For Black Friday 2019, Mercedes wants to hook you up with a deal on a new or used car. On the used market, Mercedes is offering up 1.9-percent APR on certified pre-owned 2016,2017,and 2018 models. If you want to buy new, most of its SUV lineup is being offered with the same APR, including the 2019 GLA, GLC, and GLS. You can even get the Mercedes CLA at 1.9 percent, so there’s quite literally a deal for everyone.

Mini

You probably don’t want a Mini, but if you do, you can get up to $1,000 of just about any model, including:

-* Mini Cooper S Hardtop 2 door and 4 door

-* John Cooper Works Hardtop 2 door

-* Cooper S Convertible

-* John Cooper Works Convertible

-* Cooper S Clubman

-* Cooper S Clubman ALL4

-* John Cooper Works Clubman ALL4

-* Cooper S Countryman

-* Cooper S Countryman ALL4

-* John Cooper Works Countryman ALL4

Mitsubishi

Black Friday 2019 doesn’t come with huge discounts at Mitsubishi, but if you want a 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander or Eclipse Cross, you can get one with 0-percent financing for 72 months and no payments for 90 days. Just don’t ask for cashback or customer credit because it isn’t going to happen.

Nissan

Nissan doesn’t technically have any Black Friday deals, but there are some deals going on this month. The 2019 Nissan Rogue, for example, is being offered for $0 down, $0 due at signing, and no payments for 90 days. The 2019 Nissan Altima can be had with a 0-percent APR for 36 months and $2,000 cashback. These offers end on December 2nd, but if you speak with your local dealer there may be some locality-specific deals going on – it definitely won’t hurt to shop around.

Smart

There are more Black Friday 2019 lease deals on the Smart EQ ForTwo than we can count, and you can get any of them through December 2nd. Be sure to check with your local dealer, though, as we stopped by the automaker’s webpage and found different results based on different locations. If you want an older Smart model, a lot of certified pre-owned models from 2011-2016 are being offered with a 1.9-percent APR.

Subaru

Now is probably the time to get into a Subaru if you’re really hoping to. The 2019 Subaru Legacy, Ascent, Outback, Forester, and Impreza are being offered at 0.9-percent financing as part of Subie’s Black Friday 2019 deals. If you’re interested in a 2020 Crosstrek, WRX, or BRZ, you can finance one with 1.9-2.9 percent APR. It’s not a huge drop in finance rate, and there are no other incentives as far as we can tell, but the APR rates aren’t too bad.

Toyota

We have yet to see any real 2019 Black Friday advertisements from Toyota, so you’ll have to hunt locally to see what is available. We did some digging and found that some areas have the 2019 Camry available with 0-percent financing over 60 months and up to $2,000 in customer cash. The 2019 RAV4 was also shown on the website with a 1.9-percent APR, so you might be able to save some money in the long term on that.

Volvo

Volvo’s Black Friday 2019 deal is officially called “Sweden’s Greetings,” and it’ll bring you a 2.9-percent APR on the XC90 and anywhere between $1,000 and $3,000 cashback on just about everything from the Volvo S60 to the V90 Cross Country. The deal ends on December 2, 2019.
