BMW recently announced their new M Performance Parts, with the M550d, the X5 M50d, and the X6 M50d getting the first additions from the program. The same treatment will also be applied to the 1-Series, but unlike the other three models, BMW has opted to unveil the model as a concept version first. The new M135i Concept will make its world debut at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show on March 6th.

The BMW M135i Concept will feature the same design treatment as seen in the previous BMW M Performance models, including a distinctive front apron with large air intakes and a new rear apron finished in Dark Shadow metallic. The air intakes accommodate the exhaust system’s double tailpipe.

The concept is powered by a straight six-cylinder engine featuring M Performance Twin Power Turbo technology with a power output of more than 300 HP. It is also equipped with an M sports braking system and a special set of 18" M light alloy wheels.

Compared to a standard BMW 1-Series, the new M135i Concept features a more dynamic and elongated appearance. This impression was obtained with the use of typical M design elements like a front apron with large air intakes designed to match the cooling requirement of the powerful engine. For the rear, BMW has added a new apron painted in Dark Shadow metallic that accommodates the exhaust system’s double tailpipe.

The concept’s beautiful white exterior paint is combined with
Ferric Grey on the exterior mirror caps and BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line on the side window surrounds. The car sits on a new set of 18-inch M light alloys with a double spoke design combined with larger brakes.

When Can I Buy It?

BMW has not revealed any selling or pricing information on the BMW M135i, after all this is just a concept at the moment. We expect to see a full production model by the end of the year.

If launched on the market, the new M135i will be far better than its direct competitor: the Audi A3. The A3 is also set to be unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, but will it be better than the RS3? Probably not. If rumors are true, the new RS3 will be powered by a 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine with an increased output of 350 HP, up from 340 HP.

I wonder what makes it more competent than others, though it seems to have no difference with styles and power.

There were small details that shouldn’t have been added to it as they only destroyed its possible perfect image.

It would have rather looked classy and sleek if it weren’t for those thin tri-colored streaks.

I think every detail of a car has something to contribute with its appearance. Like on this one, there is a certain feature that keeps it from being flawless.

Miss Article Writer, I partly agree that it looks funny. The other part goes to my thought that it looks cheap. Once again, random streaks destroyed the class of its style.

I love its dynamic appearance as well as the grille which visibly larger than the former units, and it creates a cooler intake for the engine.

The blue and red cap edge looks like a Philippine Flag colors. Well, if you’re going to bring this on that country, you might get surprise on how big success it’ll be.

The style isn’t fresh. For a small-sized family, the space needed to accommodate the whole is ideal. Although in terms of horsepower it is weak.

Despite its “improvised” appearance, we can say it’s not really stylish. It seems to be something so ordinary though it has supreme engine and nicely designed wheel rims.

This hatchback version of BMW is quite bigger and spacious than the usual. Actually, as I see this, it looks more of SUV than a hatchback because of its size.

I love the angst on its design in spite of having a simple detailing, and I would admit that it really looks so fun to drive with even though I found out that its power output is only 320 horsepower.
