The new BMW M3 and M4 have just started arriving at the dealerships, but Manhart Performance is already developing its own versions of these beauties. The M3 and the M4 are under scrutiny for their kidney grilles, but there’s no denying that they're an improvement in every aspect otherwise.

Called the MH3 600 and MH4 600, Manhart has made sure these cars look vastly different from the stock models. Manhart has carried over its signature gold-and-black color combination here. The black comes with tastefully-placed golden decals all around the body without making it look too gaudy or extravagant. There will be carbon fiber aerodynamic parts such as the hood, front splitter, side flaps, and the rear spoiler and diffuser.

The MH3 600 and the MH4 600 will ride on 21-inch Concave One forged wheels wrapped in 265/30 section tires at the front and 305/25 section low-profile tires at the rear. The trademark Manhart wheels with gold pinstripe will also be on offer. The tuner will also offer H&R-sourced springs that will lower the stance of both the Bimmers. Once closer to the package reveal, we’ll have more details on this.

The M3 and the M4 are available in the standard and Competition trims and are powered by the same 3.0-liter, twin-turbo six-cylinder mills. In stock form, the M3 coupe and the M4 coupe make 473 horses and 406 pound-feet of torque. They take 4.1 seconds to sprint to 60 mph and have a top speed of 155 mph. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed manual gearbox in both cars.

The M3 Competition and the M4 Competition, on the other hand, make 503 horses and 479 pound-feet of torque in the stock form. The Competition models are three-tenths of a second quicker than the standard models. They are mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that power the rear wheels.

Manhart will make a significant improvement to these figures. The Competition trims are expected to receive over 100-horsepower of boost, courtesy of the MHtronik Powerbox. The tuner has noted that Competition models will make in the ballpark of 620 ponies and 553 pound-feet of twist. The standard M3 and M4 will make around 590 horses, maintaining the same gap as the stock models.

Other than this, the German tuner will also make changes to the exhaust system, offering both cat-back and OPF-back exhaust systems. They will be available with twin carbon tailpipes. Additionally, you can also opt for the middle silencer replacement pipes for an even more throaty roar.

How Much Will It Cost?

Manhart Performance hasn’t let out all the details yet, but you can expect every model to breach the six-digit figure including the cost of the donor vehicle. In the U.S., here’s how BMW has priced the cars:
